What and enjoyable video tour of St George Island State Park! It is going on my list of places I would love to visit. The beach is nice and wide open, and I like the pavilion's . The campground is very, very nice. Well trimmed up, and clean looking. I like how the site's are distanced from each other. You're not too close to your neighbor, to where you feel as if you're sharing a site with someone else. Wow, site 52 is super nice! The other 3 or 4 down from it also look nice. I would definitely love being close to the dune's, and I like the pine tree's ! Some have some wild interesting shapes ! It would be a nice site to Bird watch at too. Very pretty to look at. Wonderful campground! And the Beach was Awsome ! What a wonderful walk that would be. And lot's of Shell's !!! Love seashell's !! I would, for sure bring a bag for collecting them. That one you picked up, was for sure, a "keeper". Great video ! Vicky

This destination is on our bucket list. St. Joseph Island State Park was closed during our visit due to hurricane damage to the barrier island. Will have to check it out on a future visit.

Yes we were there last month, I flew my drone about a quarter mile off the coast and got some amazing footage of a large school of dolphins playing and feeding.

Hi Emily. This state park is definitely worthy of repeat visits. As for our song library, hey I have to keep some trade secrets. Thanks for watching! Lou

Nice video, and thanks for giving a slow tour of the campground. The place caters too much to RV's imo though. It would be nice if the park had a primitive B loop with nothing but primitive sites away from all the RV's. Most of the time I just rogue camp, but alternate on tours stopping at campgrounds some nights for the showers and such, but man do all the RV's get annoying. It's not really camping at all if you're dealing with generators, tv's, and bad drivers trying to back a city bus into a campsite at 3am lol

I agree with everything you said. However, this is one of the few barrier island campgrounds that is big rig friendly in Florida. There are many more camping destinations with Gulf or Ocean access in Florida that are available to those with smaller camping configurations. Everything in the RV world is a trade off. Sometimes I venture off in my Dodge Ram with a tent and camping gear to get into those sweet camping spots where big rigs are simply a no go. Thanks for watching. Lou

Great video! I wish you would mention the cost of the non free camping areas that you showcase

Hi David, Your feedback is most certainly appreciated. Readily available information that may change frequently, especially state parks with their own reservation system and pricing I usually leave for the viewer to research. What they can't get in detail are what the better campsites look like and the cellular connectivity strength. We provide both in our onsite reviews. Thanks for watching! Lou

Thank you for another great video. How hard is it to get a spot there in January - March? Need to reserve 11 months in advance? Can you pick sites when reserving? I thought in FL they assigned sites at check in. Hope you can respond.

One of the reasons I create these videos is to help others reserve an awesome campsite. Reserve as far out as possible for this location and select your specific campsite. Have not heard of the park making campsite assignments. Lou

At this state park, I don't believe there were any dog friendly beaches. Thanks for watching! Lou
