Been trying for over 3 moths to set the time on my watch. Followed the instructions here and within 30 seconds got my watch set.
Just bought one , on blue very satisfied, and you explanation was simple enough, tnx
I just got this at a great deal, the only thing I don't really like is the type of light, they should've done the kind of dual illuminator
you didnt show how to set the light settings for how long and to turn on the auto light
Thanks! I just got it today, and had a hard tim figure out how to set everything. This video really helped!
It is hard to see but it's a beautiful watch. With the white luminous hands, you'll always be able to tell the time. A very sleek watch.
thanks for the video. did the recieve signal manual and took forever. didnt realize it was still set to nyc when i manuall changed it.
I suppose you failed your grammar class as well. Congrats on being a high achiever of failure.
I have this watch - have a challenge each time we switch from EST to DST. Digital shows correct time, but I cannot get analog to match that time. Need to pursue a degree in engineering....
+Lavar Munroe - mistake, Lavar - this was posted by me
Same with mine!!! So annoying keeps happening 🤬🤬🤬
Anyone figured this out yet?
@@M4V7RICK Check page E-73 of the manual to "Hand Home Position Adjustment." Fixed my problem where it was 30min off.

Nice clear vid. Followed instructions but watch time is miles out still. The battery died 2 days ago, has now recharged to M level, so maybe that's why the time and date are still miles out.
Looks cool I have just received a pre-owned Casio G-Shock model awgm100 which both batteries are missing.
I'm trying to find out what they are my research shows they are CTL 290f.. can somebody confirm this and does this battery go into both battery compartments.?
Thanks
Set to Denver (mountain time zone), I can't get this watch to auto adjust for DST/MST and always have to manually turn DST on and off. My MTG tough solar automatically changes to/from DST, and since this is supposed to be getting it's time from Denver, it should be as well but it does not. Am I missing something or is this a broken feature on this model G-Shock?
Excellent review, I did not have to read instructions after I watched your video. Thanks
I have same watch.I havent been using it for like 1 or 2 years, and i have changed batteries now and it was for 2 days on the sunlight but it still writes CHG on display...
Thanks this worked just don't hold down button a for too long otherwise the watch says h.set and goes kinda haywire
Will it be ok for Small wrists?
You should include in the video how well the illumination functions in the dark. I’ve encountered other Casio watches with poor lamination, due to the lights being above the digital displays. This cast a shadow that impedes visibility those displays.
I have the same watch, and i can tell you, only the analogue part visible in the dark, when u r using the light. The chronos are invisible in dark.
Depends, you can turn the light on in the dark and hover your finger over the displays, then you’d be able to see
They should have a positive display its easier to see on dimmer situation .
Hek Lik they have a version like what you described of this
Is the positive display the AWGM100B-1ACR?
my watch is the same as your and I set it to my correct time zone or country, which is California. But my watch is 18 minutes faster. How do I fix this?
Can you please show how to turn off and on the daylight savings?
Is the size smaller than their regular g shocks?
Nice review. Direct and to the point. Thanks -v-
Thanks for posting...was a big help :)
Is this the cheapest watch that Casio offers with solar power and Radio controlled ?
CamarosGang no, they offer cheaper. I have this watch and I love it though!!
Mike Martin the cheapest G-Shock but not the cheapest Casio with those functions.
What is your wrist size?
I wish this had a light to light up the digital display. because without it it makes all the watch's function useless in the dark. heck, you can't even tell the date in the dark!
it looks cool but i think its hard to see the time
on ebay it's written that it has "date" but I don't see it in options besides day of the week. So does it have date or not?
Hit the top left button
it does have a date
Thank you 👍😎
How do you set it to 24 hour time?
Super helpful. Thank you.
So does this recharge by using sun light?
Anyone have the lug width (strap width) on this? A charcoal NATO strap would be perfect for this.
How much?
My hubby found one on the floor bland new but me nor him know how to work it lol
The last auto watch that I buy. Can never get the damn signal.
I have a problem in my watch. The digital one shows correct time but the analog doesn't.. Can anyone solve my problem..Please help me..
adjust the daylight savings time setting...
Check page E-73 of the manual for "Hand Home Position Adjustment." Fixed my problem
Nice and simple
Thank you
I set it based on the time zone but the time is a few minutes off
I have the exact same watch , followed your instructions and the watch still has the wrong time. Is it broken?
the person who is explaining seems to be skipping some steps - the watch made by casio is made by engineers and casino does a poor job explaining the set up in there manuals- the watch is not that user friendly to setup
Again, a great watch with no back lighting for the digital displays. Another fail, Casio. Almost had me sold on this one.
My one has a backlight.
My has a back-light 🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@buzzertheone how much usd is the price bro?
It does have a backlight.
Very clear!
BUT NOT THE NEGATIVE DIGITAL DISPLAYS. A GOOD LESSON ON WHY TO AVOID.
It was so hard but i do it thanks a lot
Be warned all, do not get the black like this, it's *very* hard to make out the digits irl. Consider yourselves warned.
He's not a moron, I have this watch and he is absolutely correct. Impossible to see digital displays
Stanton Forges
how big is your wrists?
About 7.5 inches
still can not set the digital side. It can not fall exactly where it should be. Any help
Check page E-73 of the manual for "Hand Home Position Adjustment." Fixed my problem
Wat is the weight of this watch
Sunny A hardly noticeable if you're used to similar watches
One of the nicest looking g shocks but the usability and displaying viewing is shockingly bad
