this is awesome, but i got some suggestions, first on the showroom mode the car could rotate slower so we could see the details better, and second the texts on the top of the screen could disappear so the only thing on screen is the car and the text on the bottom, but overall that's nice work

In my opinion, it's way too zoomed in. I get the feeling that a better approach would be to combine Gran Turismo's typical showroom zoom and angle with zoomed in details, so that we get the best of both worlds. Please don't take this as a hate comment; I can only assume this took you ages to code/set up.
So the default camera got a bit zoomed out after this video. Now almost all cars (exceptions like Tank Car) fit into the screen. Showroom mode kinda removed the need for that zoom on default camera for details. The zoomed cameras also got fine-tuned a bit. for example just now i added a very small fade so the screen goes dark briefly. (for dealerships, garage was already fine in that regard)

This is great for people who makes custom livery using pcsx2's texture replacement and appreciating the details on car models
thats right. you can see that i enabled Retexture Mod despite the banding on the hood just to show I made licence plates for some cars

bro on pcsx2 you can remove the garbage at the bottom of the screen by cropping 5 pixels on each axis in the graphics -> display settings.

some close up shots with the car standing still, fading in and out of frame would be great, if possible. love this so far.

gt4 rotation is fast yeah. it's a general consensus that i need to slow it down, lets see if i can
