This track never gets old
Timeless jams . It's like soul food that can never go bad .
Facts bro
I’m from LA! But this is my shit!
IMO this is the best sound that described NY in the 90s. Not the gentrified NY.
This literally is the greatest hip hop album all time hands down
i don't have #1 but crazy how absolutely fire it is ... i have it #2
Hell on Earth!
ya
Defintely in the Top 5 discussion
To be it’s better than Illmatic and I have mad respect for Nas.
The beat is sliding like a MF
41st side
Being a Queensbridge native, Mobb Deep instrumentals does something to the spirit, like you gotta stop what you doing and listen to the grimey coming through the speakers cause they talking about our lives
Not only to you bro but to me as well. French guy from Paris. It hits home🙏🏾👌🏾👏🏾
En la selva ecuatoriana también se escucha esta joya ...
Tan mortal como si un indio te lanza un flechazo en la cien.

This is how you open an album.
This is honestly one of my favorite hip hop songs of all times. Just captures the essence of New York. Grimey and Beautiful at the same time. Rip Bandana P, shout out Havoc 💯 🙏🏽
This album is NYC in sonic form. Dark, classy, groovy, raw and beautiful in it's own unique way. Capturing that essence is and of itself is a huge accomplishment. Back at You and If it's Alright share the same signature sound. Shout out Havoc, Q-Tip and Big Noyd. RIP Prodigy!
Straight out the gate, this album comes on legendary a must have album
If this is not in your top 10 albums of all time you know nowt about hip hop. Havoc and Prodigy RIP two of the best from the East coast, proper NYC rap, prolific writing geniuses.
Interesting, that is entirely a British term, but spelled differently. As far as I know that should be nought, nothing, zero (or zed I should say). But nowt is how most people say it is and honestly I have no idea what they consider the correct spelling in the UK.
Black Moon, Cube and Smiff n Wessun were up the come up, but Mobb came up out on top in my opinion.
All of them great, but this just killed if.
Yes bro you know! The Infamous and Hell on Earth were both immense! Defo Top 10!

Mobb deep top 2 never mind top ten
*These songs are gold*
This shit better than rap nowadays. This the real shit✅
This is history no doubt
Rip Prodigy ♥
It always trips me out that this is actually their 2nd album. It's like a whole enhanced sound from the previous album. Like this upgrade is superb. Artists like Mobb Deep, Sean Price, Outkast, Redman, Biggie, & Tupac all had this evolution in sound in such a short matter of time, it's crazy. All you got to do is listen to the actual artist from the very 1st album to like the last. All lyrically & sonically are different from the last.
If you got a chance check out my 90s raise meep
the older i get the more its solidified that this is my favorite rap album from the 90s era.
'I used to drive an Ac and kept a Mac in the engine. Littles painted it black with crack sale intentions'.. R. I. P Thunn.. Miss u bro 🙏🏿🔥🔥🔥👑
“I use to drive a Ac(Acura) with a Mac in the engine/ window’s tinted in black with crack sale intentions “- P. One one of the ilkest lines ever
“…and kept a Mac’ in the engine, Littles painted it black with craçk sale intentions…”
*Littles is a member of The Infamous Mobb.
He’s on a skit freestyle on Prodigy’s solo album, HNIC. I believe it’s track #17, the song before the one with B.G (Y.B.E)
Bandana P slid on this! 🔥 Miss you dawg! 🕊️ 🙏🏾
RIP Prodigy 🔥🔥
A hard track, but really profound and personal at the same time.
"Staying intoxicated, never sober"
That still hits listeners.
R.I.P. P
Reminds me of running around NYC growing up with friends
If I were a teenager or early 20s in a black innercity than you knew.
Maybe the greatest 2-bar loop ever made. Hearing that beat slide from left to right for the first time on my car stereo back in 2020 blew me away like no album intro before or since.
❤💯✨
This album was too hard! I'll NEVER forget this summer!!!
To me I always listening to this album during the winter time

Something special about this album that I can’t describe. Mobb Deep were DIFFERENT.
25years old and still the best..

25 years young. Mobb is fine wine. This is part of the foundation of rap.
Feels like new can't believe it's that old
🔥 R.I.P Prodigy
ICONIC ALBUM
Prodigy touched my heart.
One of the best Rap albums of all time that defined the one time Progidy became untouchable and Havoc a genius. Jay-Z even said P. Was the best at one point and I think he even out did Nas on this one.
Absolutely
P went nuts on this album
Actually P was even better on Hell On Earth!
On what let's not talk crazy slow your roll. Doing to much Nas is different.

Why can't we go back to the 90's low-key the early-mid and late 90's is where all the real shit was made
I still making something for hip hop, you can check
Fr, 90s was the golden decade for Hip Hop. Every year you can name HUGE records that came out and changed shit. It was so connected as a culture and genre, constant references to other rappers and producers, they were close and gave props to each other. You don't see love like that no more. Underground shit today is good too but it ain't ever gonna touch anything from the 90s, let's be real.
Golden age shit
I agree man
Im from Brooklyn new York 11230 i live in Detroit Michigan tho i still got my inner city flame burning in me that keeps me alive if your from new york you can survive anywhere miss prodigy wish he was still here that guy taught me my whole life of growing up without my mom and dad who died back in 2006
