@@muratboran5088 The earliest version that I know of was recorded by Frank Hutchison around 1927. Frank was from West Virginia and I suspect he heard it from the black railroad workers when the railroad came through his hometown of Lake, West Virginia in the early 1900's. The early lyrics included the verse with "Hello, Central, give me six-oh-nine, I want to talk to that brown of mine."
