The Orlando Magic got the first four games of their schedule on the calendar as the NBA Cup games were announced. Their group play games will deliver what was promised -- a stage to prove the Magic are ready to compete at a higher level. A national TV game with the New York Knicks with stakes looms.
With the Olympics over, we are looking forward to the 2028 games in Los Angeles. And the Orlando Magic will have at least one player with an inside track to join Team USA. And they may have another.
