I went to Grad School, and it was helpful to receive an assistantship. Many schools understand that is a draw. It makes sense to establish connections in the professional world while you're in school. Your colleagues and networks are how you get gigs and other opportunities once school is over.

Great Video! I'm starting a Jazz degree this September in Birmingham, UK, looking forward to exploring the music scene there and getting better at my craft. Post-grad is a long way away for me but this is still interesting - really enjoying your channel!

Great vid Paul. I’m in a similar situation where I graduated with my BA degree in ‘professional musicianship’ 2 years ago (I studied guitar). I spent these past 2 years doing guitar lessons around my local and neighbouring villages. The problem is, I don’t want to be a teacher... Never wanted to. I want nothing more than to compose/record and produce music for film/tv/games. Problem is, a degree is no entry card in to this field from my observations and constant attempts to secure one of these roles have been met with no success. They only want people with years worth of experience working in the industry (which is understandable). So, if I don’t want to teach, was my music degree useless? And an MA won’t improve my chances I’m guessing so I’ll probably find a new line of work, keep music as a hobby on the side. This vid was interesting and helpful, all the best, Harry.

Hey Sahil. I'm sorry, I just don't know what you mean by "12 stream," or "create effect on refusal." If you clarify your meaning I'll do my best to help :)

@@Rushil1000 I'm sorry, I'm still not entirely sure what you're asking. It sounds like you went to high school, and have a bachelor's in music. Are you asking if you can get a masters in music? If so yes, of course you can. Just depends on if it's the best choice for you or not.
