    steve albini and this band are awesome
    Big black and rapeman were pretty great too, perhaps even more on the edge

      Rapeman had picket lines outside their gigs in UK. How much more edgy you want to get?

    If metalheads had discovered this music that mosh pit would've been like a scene out of the 300

      Unfortunately metalheads just like music that pretends to be heavy rather than actually being heavy

      I remember they came Australia in the mid eighties and were very loud.

    This is really great quality. Captures their intensity superbly. Great track from a great album. Thanks

    Pretty sure this was Shellac’s first oakland gig; they had passed the town up for a long long time despite years of invitations and having several local friends

    That's Jon P, often seen in the front row at Bay Area shows. He often reviews them for spinningplatters(dot)com

    Todd Trainor is probably the coolest drummer ever, right up there with Ray Washam.

    Sound is amazing. What is the model of your camera?

    • @michaelzvid
      @michaelzvid  10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The audio comes from an external high-fidelity recording. (The audio from the camera - a Flip UltraHD -- was very distorted.)

    What kinda amps are those?

    • @johnqdarwin
      @johnqdarwin 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      steve made them . there is no tone control circuitry in them , just gain and volume . bass is same as guitar , they use different cabs .
