I recall years ago Mulberry did a tweed orange Lilly bag. It was only one season and it sold out quite quickly, so I thought they would release it again perhaps in another colour due to the popularity, but they never did and it's been about 10 years now. I still search Mulberry Outlets or sample sales if I'm ever in one, but no luck.
The orange and black tweed? They are releasing a pink version its on the website in coming soon, but its not as tweedy as the original. They also made clothing and shoes in the same finish! Unfortunately the outlets try and only stock 1-2 years old now, and sample sales also. If I come across one ill make a video on it!
@@bstheluxurynetwork9526 Yes, it was black and orange tweed. I do remember the Jacket and skirt they made in the same tweed. Thank you for highlighting the new pink tweed bag they have coming soon. I've taken a look and it is lovely, I'm just not a pink person. Hopefully you'll get the black/orange tweed bag someday and can made a video.
Just as this is your most recent video - what do you say in regards to bayswater feet? I know the newer ones don't have them but it drives me NUTS. Feet don't add that much weight to a bag and if i'm paying relatively big money, i want feet! The original bayswaters have feet but let's be honest - they're pretty useless. They're not "tall" enough, the corners come way below the feet
It was purely a weight argument, as far as Mulberry explained to us. I worked for them when the new style was released and they claimed to have got rid what they deemed unnecessary weight within hardware etc to make way for suede lining and a generally lighter weight. I personally don’t think the weight was ever a issue, I love feet, just as a form of extra protection.
Especially with a larger price point I like to have all the bells and whistles!!
If they’re good enough for a Birkin they are good enough for me!
@@bstheluxurynetwork9526 agree 100% my ysl sac de jour (or poor man’s birkin as i call it) has great feet. They’re a good shape too so they actually stand the bag up! The bayswater feet drive me crazy! I’m constantly pushing the bottom my bag to try push the corners out so the feet actually touch the floor instead of the corner leather 🙄
Are the bags sold at the outlets the same ones as in the boutiques?
Yes, there was no difference in quality.
Hi iv emailed you not sure if you can offer any advice on a second hand mulberry Iv bought not sure if it’s genuine any advice would be appreciated Thkyou in advance xx would love advice if older vintage mulberry bags how they were made hardware were they glued etc did they all have imprinted mulberry zips inside etc 😊
