I used Steadfast for all the drakes, but for some reason it prefered "slash" damage instead of "pierce". Meaning I was hitting for around 18-20/attack. Is it the apprentice sneak attack that changes it? Or the Survival bonus?
Quick question. I have we toki and sheathed in autumn. Should go get that one other weapon the soul binding one and swap it for sheathed in autumn? I already know I need to kill the sky dragon still which you're already aware of. But I'm presuming you run the soul bound weapon and godsundthyr.
@Ultrabuu85 ahhh ok. I've just taken down the sky dragon finally. Found out that by making her passive and then sneaking for godsund then attacking her she doesn't summon or whatever is happening there aren't 5 rain lights joining the fight. Not sure why that was happening. Might be a bug maybe. If I put durgan stuff on my weapons do they "stack" I know it's not actually technically stacking since they're two different weapons but to me the game is bugged imo with the attribute stuff like for instance a helmet with +2 con and wearing a ring that also has +2 con doesn't stack but one suppresses the other. I know that's not an issue in poe2 though thankfully. At least as far as I'm concerned. I just wanna make sure that each weapon does get their 15% stuff and hits to crits. Since I'm running pallegina with her zeal that also boosts hits to crits and my monk has bloody slaughter. So she should be having around a 50% hits to crits if I'm not mistaken.
Why do you rest at the Nedmar? Is there a certain time and day when items show? For example Gloves of Manipulation... I am not able to open all the doors, because I have not got enough Mechanics, without these Gloves and going back from WM (the forge) to Caed Nua just to get +2 Mechanics is something I do not really want to do. I have 10 points in Mechanics and I was not able to find any item with at least +1. Any suggestions? Thank you for the content! :)
@@Ultrabuu85 This gave me a headache as well at first. There's 3 critical timed random items used in the run: Gloves of Manipulation in Roedrics chest, Boots of stealth on castle roof, and the +2 lore amulet in ogre cave. Without those, run can't be replicated.
This is kind of late, but if you missed the necklace (+2 lore amulet for immunity to paralysis scrolls etc), then you can get the drop from galawain's maw (old song) by using the random drop table / day. Note* this is not timed based, so you can skip as many days as you want to ensure you get the necklace. By this guide, you need the necklace for white marsh paralysis folks..
i was thinking about doing a casual run to grab the achievement but i also want to maximize soul-binding what would your go-to race be in a non-Godlike run? also how required is We Toki and your armor? would War Club of the Mataru and Ryona's Breastplate be decent replacements?
Well, on a casual run you are much more flexible, because you can die and just reload and try again. Aumaua is good with his Towering Physique. The club and breastplate are good, but you get the breastplate pretty late. We Toki is just the best weapon for high accuracy classes. Proning enemies is a huge advantage.
Why didn't you use the hammer against the Eyeless? It it amazing. You get a free 12s stun against them every battle with Ring of the Ancient Forge, and it instantly kills them on crit. Just make sure you get hit once at begin, so you can spam Torment's Reach with the hammer.

It's a random loot table day 1 - 20 in various chests. You have to look at the day of the month, not the other one that mentions the playtime of your journey. pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Random_loot_tables

It takes time to learn the game. It was kinda challenging for me in the beginning as well in a party. I would just suggest a Chanter as your main, because you don't need dex with him and you don't need to attack, that*s your phrases and summons / invocations for. I posted the build in my chanter run. I noticed something a little weird. The levels you list in the description don't actually match what you take in-game. For example, here you take lesser wounds at level 4, when you list it at level 6 in the description. Is the description the final build after a respec, or is it just what you would recommend?
Great run, successfully replicated it with some changes and got achievement! Monk is overpowered.

It should actually always use the one that does more damage to the enemy based on their damage reduction.

Steadfast makes you immune to the dragons terrify aura, so i would recommend to get the sword.

Depends on the class, sometimes i use it. But sometimes the hammer is bugged and won't insta kill the eyeless.

I noticed ultimate runs dump resolve is it that useless?
For the most part it's the stat you can dump. Two quests in chapter 3 require a high amount, but you can always respec for that.

It's the final build or how you should start anyway. I came to the conclusion while playing, like swift strikes is not really worth having at all.
