Though they pretty much all had the same end result, this one was the least time consuming with the most superior cut the crap approach. Super description and really easy to follow. Just made one....and then figured out that the prosecco bottle that I bought as a gift is too fat to fit in it. Oopsie. Now my friend is getting a bottle of wine and a bottle of prosecco for her birthday. :)
Just finished making a bottle bag with Christmas fabric. Very easy to follow and much less fiddly than a round base! I topstitched both sides of the handle -you could use a contrasting colour. Thanks for the pattern.
Very easy and simple instructions- they look "smashing". Would like to obtain the written instructions, but I was able to take notes. Thank you. Now I can make bags for every occasion ! ( not that I know a lot of drinkers :)
Thank you! I want to make one with a thermal lining in it suitable for a frozen water bottle too. It would be handy in all the hot weather we're having at the moment.

At 2.42 minutes into the video you have the lining fabric on the inside then at 3. 20 you have the lining fabric on the outside? did I miss something. Fantastic video I will have ago at making this, just not sure if the lining has to be on the inside or out when sewing the top together if you could explain this would be great thanks.
hmmmm that sounds like an interesting challenge....... I guess you could add a zipper to a side seam and just make the top a loop? I'll add it to the project list. Thanks for the recommendation! x

oh my goodness everything about this is just perfect. I love the handle. I have actually ordered the bag to fit other gifts such as for matching candles. I was getting somebody. That way they can use the bag after they open their gifts. 🩷💙❤️💚💜🩵🇨🇦
