Same problem had my neighbor's 2010 Giulietta, I fixed it and looks like it was old problem because some not so qualified person fixed somehow the wires before. Thanks for help.
Had the same problem with my Mito. After a bit of trial and error, turned out to be a broken wire in the side column of the hatch. I managed to put it through and fix. and feed it back in. Was a fiddly job!
Nice and in depth diagnosis. Also FYI if you ever need to replace the trunk lock you can look for one from opel astra or opel corsa as they are the same, just make sure you got matching part number, and locks from opel are way cheaper.
0:58 , I was thinking - looking at those two screws, maybe you should put a washer in between the screw and plastic itself. Its just, the way it looks, I have the feeling that plastic will break right there eventually because only a small part, the edge, of the screw is gripping on to the plastic. From all the driving, bumps and holes in the road, I feel it will eventually break. Especially the one at 1:03, look at the left side of the screw, its barely gripping the plastic
I want to say that everything you mention about faults and common problems with the GIULIETTA model is spot on. Your videos really help giving insight into my Alfa Giulietta. I wish your garage was in the country where I lived! I have a Giulietta 1.4 petrol (VIN ZAR940000 07111581, engine 940A2000, Year 2012) and my dashboard acts like there is a ghost in control. It changes languages by itself; it dims and sets speed limits by itself; it changes the date and time, and various other settings change while the car is on. Do you know why this happens, what needs to be fixed/changed? A local electro-mechanic said I need to change the BCU & ECU & Key. Have you come across this issue? Thanks in advance 🙏

I have a similar problem with my Alfa Gt. Tested the plug with a test light and one pin lights up when the key button is pressed on one pin but nothing on the other pin. Does this mean that the wiring is bad? I tested the lock and actuator and these are fine.
HI THERE...I OWN A 147 2.0 L TSPARK THAT HAS A INTERMITTENT LIMP MODE ISSUE AND MOST RECENTLY I EXPERIENCED A MISS FIRE. Do you happen to have any idea as to what can cause it? I REALLY NEED HELP ON THIS !!

Moj ne otvara na dugme, ali hoće na ključ, pa me zanima da li si možda gledao kako je vezano dugme, ide li nazad do razoda ili prespaja odmah 12V na bravu? Pitam da se ne mlatim bezveze da sam pokušavam, jer ako ide nazad na razvod to mi je komplikovano, al sa sa dugmeta na bravu bih relativno lako našao koja žica ne baca i sredio to sam. I lepa ti je Alfa! I ja sam hteo crvenu, al na kraju ipak dođe siva (MA varijanta od 170ks)

Just discovered problem with my GT and opening trunk. It won't open on keyfob or button inside. I can hear click under steering wheel when pressing button. Windows are working, fuel flap is working button fine. Any advice?
Всичко е много добре направено, но...по Ел. инсталация на кола не се запоява с тинол. Най- добре е твърда, пресова връзка. Предишният път пак е била на спояване и се е прекъснала. Проблемът е, че колкото и добре да е изолирана спойката, все пак попада влага и се получава галваничен елемент. Припоят се разпада и връзката се бламира.

Need to do the same job on my 147. Looks like a pain but I suppose once the boot is off it shouldn't be too bad.

No, make sure you know how to test the ground as well

Check the coils, and use diagnostic tool to check out everything else that could cause the issue

I don't think it has a dedicated fuse, but I would have to check just in case
