    How do I export a lot of images including the adjustments I have made and in the original CR format? If I choose “Export Original Files” (in the menu “File ➡ Export” then it won’t include my adjustments. And if I Choose to export form the export menu I can choose between JPEG, TIFF, PNG, DNG or PSD”. Which one is the same as original file size?
    Thanks in advance ;-)

    Insights on Capture One's 250% Scale Limit: Is It Interpolation?
    If the scale in Capture One's export settings (under 'Format & Size') is set to more than 100%, does that count as interpolation? (Note that I am referring to Raw File Processing)
    Please also comment on the 250% Scale limit and how that number became the limit.

    Is there a way to make the export folder launch after the images have been exported? I want a finder window to open to the exported folder once the images are done exporting.

      Hi,
      It's not possible to do it automatically. However, there's a little grey arrow to the right of "Sample Path" within Location in the Export window. Clicking that will take you to the export destination.

    There is a way (actually, a token) to export RAW files to JPG by changing the name of the file but mantains the camera serial numbers?
    For example: client_yyyymmdd_project_raw-0321 (camera serial number) to client_yyyymmdd_project_jpg_high-0321

    • @CaptureOne
      @CaptureOne  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Carmelo,
      you can use Cross Recipe Tokens tool. Enter your camera's serial number into the Job name field, and then use Job Name token as a static value when naming your images.

    Please remind me how to keep the camera counter no when shooting tethered to capture one (in export in naming)

      If we're getting your question right, you can go to File -> Capture Counter and adjust/reset the values.

    I am using the free version and i can't seem to export my edited file as a tiff to my edited folder on my hard drive. I need a step by step tutorial to do this please as the software is useless for me at this moment in time.

    When I try to export more than one photo they all highlight but only one shows up in the exporting frame? What do I need to do to fix this?

      @CaptureOne  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Barb,
      Please check that Edit All Selected Variants is turned on. You can find it under Image>Edit All Selected Variants.

    Is there a way to upload directly to Flickr?
    Is there a map feature to geotag the photos? does it support Open Street Map?
    I've installed and briefly tested Capture One few minutes. The software is very responsive, loads fast, zooms consistently fast, no slow downs so far. I will see.
    Lightroom is crazy slow at times and need to let calm down before it responds.
    and my PC is a beast.

      @CaptureOne  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There is a basic Smugmug plugin, but nothing for Flickr as yet. If the camera itself geo tags, then it's visible in the metadata, but its not currently possible to add your own geotag info.

    how do you just have it automatically export to the same folder as the raw file? I don't understand why there's no easy way to do this?

    • @CaptureOne
      @CaptureOne  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You need to select 'Same as original file' under Export Location -> Folder.

    You say for more options to check "all options". WHERE!! I don't have this I've looked everywhere at the bottom of my export toolbar and nothing. You go too fast without showing where you are in the tool. On the latest version of 22 running Windows 10

    Please bring the Process button back. I am tired of right clicking on every single photo and clicking export.

    • @CaptureOne
      @CaptureOne  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can set shortcuts for Export, Export with Previous Settings and Export Original. You will see the default shortcuts when you right click.

    • @CaptureOne
      @CaptureOne  ปีที่แล้ว

      Additionally, there is no need to individually export. Consider selecting which photos you want to export and export them at once.

    • @NoRegret08
      @NoRegret08 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CaptureOne This should be user's choice. DXO, Adobe Camera Raw, Canon DPP software all have 1 button (click) processing. There is no need to have a separate Export window pop up everytime you want to process a single RAW file, which requires 2 clicks or 2 shortcut presses. The Export pop up window after the first click or shortcut press slows down the workflow as well. Users should not be forced to do batch processing of RAW files. I had to create a custom profile in Synapse software for my mouse just to be able to process RAW files easier and it is still awkward. Yes, I like individual export and again, this should be user's choice and not what someone at Capture One has decided for the user (unlike Adobe ). This is besides the point, you had this functionality before and you removed it. Why ? People who want to use it, let them use it and those who don't , well, they don't have to use it.

      @@CaptureOne It doesn't exist in this version (it was removed in one of the v21 updates).... there's no more File-Export Variant nor can you right click on an image or a group of images and select "Export Variants".

    • @CaptureOne
      @CaptureOne  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jimtincher7357 Hi Jim. Ok, now I understand. It was widely discovered in the user base that having two methods of Export was confusing (as especially the method you reference had far less features).
      Therefore it was removed and the export tool revamped.

    • @jimtincher7357
      @jimtincher7357 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@CaptureOne Was anyone really complaining? Not sure how it would be confusing since Capture One didn't openly show it's usage in the training video's it put out and the way it was accessed was totally different from recipes...
      Honestly the recipes version is clunky... while "export variants is fast and nimble especially when you have to export lots of images into numerous locations. Also the file naming options were perfect in that they allowed me to optimize file naming for better SEO based on the type of shoot I had done.
      Really wish you'd bring it back... this is the one thing that keeps me from upgrading, and I'd like to upgrade....

      @@CaptureOne Think you guys got that feedback wrong. The new export dialog its overwhelming is not simple. Please check my comment above we really need that back.

  • @titoinkk
    @titoinkk 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Dear Capture One. We really really need the export method you removed. I export a lot of single and use different destination folders. Having this default dialog its too much information for processing single images. I don't want to see another dialog, the whole menu is overwhelming, that's one reason I didn't use it before. I think you guys confused the "Export Variants" with the "Export Tab" the second one it is CONFUSING indeed., it has 9 DIALOGS. 9!!! just to export 1 picture or a set. That is sooo confusing. I don't want to fill all that.
    1. I edit the photos, therefore I know how is the final results, I don't need to see them again.
    2. I just need a simple dialog box where to send the pictures, location.
    3. I need to adjust resolution, size, size, format and job name.
    You had this on the simple dialog, export variants settings. PLEASE, PLEASE bring it back.

      It was brought back some years ago. Just right click on any tool tab and choose to add the Export tool tab.
