He was actually reacting to those. Still fricking clean as hell, dude never let up. He didnt drop anything. Like anytime snake dodged his up special, he was able to react quick enough and precise enough to punish it. Dudes crazy good!

well, he is clear number 1 now. tweek and marss can't follow his engine fast enough.
i assume we will see someone new in evo top 8, neither samsora,void,ally,dabuz and the others can match him well. he still lose sets but he rarely fall from loser bracket. maybe zachray or shuton can grow fast enough to damage his rep. or a nobody comes out of nowhere;) there is still many talents out there just starting, leon and captain zach run show they mean business for example

I thought he came back for SmashUltimate competitive scene. (although he's got nothing on Leo/Tweek)

Wizzrobe’s runs at S&S we’re amazing. He should have no regrets about how he played this tournament.
I liked this tournament a lot for many reasons:
- of course wizzy's incredible achievement. not only top8'ing ultimate but winning (!) melee! this is a historical run and it simply was his weekend.
- mkleo basically avenging esam and annihilating samsora. I like sam but since the myran thing he's become a bit of a villain. hope he keeps having good results though
- no R.O.B.s in top8 and the only olimar and snake were destroyed by players who are hype to watch
- leo's joker is simply a joy to watch and I'm very glad he dropped lucina and ike who are boring imo
- leffen got revenge on mango after the last major's debacle

I agree with almost all you said, but I dont consider neither Ike nor Lucina to be boring to watch. In fact, I consider non-projectile spacing characters to be the more elegant style in the game.
is joker actually enjoyable to watch to anyone? seeing some of the coolest and best players just unable to land on stage because upairs and up-bs while marss and ally are doing like, insane shit just seems disheartening to me. marss, although hes not the most emotionally sound player, just gave up and sd'd. if every match in top 8 is super close and someone who had a super close and intense set with some of the biggest names in smash gets just 3-0'd in grand finals, i feel like theres a problem here. like, no doubt, mkleo is good but 3-0/3-1'ing every top player is just boring, and i think joker has some part to play in it. mkleo lost to marss at msm, samsora has had several 2-2 sets vs mkleo, all before he picked up joker.

@@DevenThaDude-xb2tm So you're saying a character with some of the best combos and edgeguarding in the game, as well as being one of the fastest and having a small hurtbox, is now bad because ONE of his numerous kill options got nerfed and his weight and gimmick are actually factors when playing them?
I don't think Pichu losing a frame 5 kill option and becoming frailer ruined him he's just worse. He can definitely still cut it in competitive.
