Yall, as a stan I can proudly say Jimin and Taehyung have the biggest stage presence in the group. My favorite thing about Jimin performing is that he rarely ever half-ass any performance. You can see just how much he loves performing and how he is born to be on stage. He isn't even the traditional pretty boy type but he has this aura that pulls you in and it's something that cant be taught, you have to be born with it. And another thing is, he can make a choreography like it's his own. I'm so proud that he now has his own dance style, that when he moves on stage, you cant help but say "THAT'S SO JIMIN" and that's says A LOT about him being an amazing artist that he is. I love him so much so I hope he improves on singing live, unfortunately he still can be unstable at times, BUT KNOW THAT HE IS TRYING, he already said it on his log last year. Just an opinion: i wonder if this is a cultural thing. 'cause V's expressions seem bland to me. i just don't seem to connect with his facial expressions on stage. my sister and i both follow kpop.(only i stan BTS.) and she feelt the same. which makes me curious. i connect more (actually most) with his voice. his is my favorite voice and vocal technique in BTS. otherwise, in both expressive dance and facial expressions, Jimin wins for me.
homa KP i'm actually not sure if your opinion has something to do with cultures. 😅 imo best performer is jimin, charisma and stage presence wise, while stability will always go to jungkook (vocal line). but what sets taehyung apart from the two is he knows how to control facial expression, mainly bc again imo he is the best actor of the group. best example about this would be his part in no more dream with his glasses thing.
No, I'm not saying Jimin is best actor. facial expressions while dancing are different than acting. acting is more controlled and based on words. it also depends highly on your partner. it's interactive. while on stage, your partner's music. you mostly need to feel the music and understand the dance. that understanding of the dance lines is lacking on Tae's part. in Spring Day i remember there was a part Tae actually was singing aggressive! too loud and extra. to the point that it distracted me. i haven't seen everyone do V's part in NMD. it wasn't actually a performance part, tho. anyway he did good. like Jimin did in his "aww" part in fire. or his bathtub part in INU (which i think was the best). or his part where he pulled the dancer up in NT. or his smile in "give me back my laughter" part in Lie performance. seriously, nothing can beat this last one. aggressive songs like NMD and NT are right up Tae's alley (they say), but doing good (not best. the best was J-Hope or JK imo. JK at the shooting part was flawless) in them doesn't make him best. on the other hand, SD and NT are very different songs and Jimin nailed both their facial expressions. not to mention he managed to leave such huge impression with less than 3 lines, while Tae and JK were the center of the song. besides, if we're talking bests, i can mention BS&T anytime. that's Jimin's 100% specialty and he killed it like no other. that's because he understands all types of songs and choreos best. his expressive face also helps. Best actor is a different matter. for me, it's Hobbi. he's very natural at that. it's obvious even from latest vids like Run BTS 12. V was 2nd there, i admit. I watched Hwarang when i wasn't yet an ARMY. Tae's acting in there didn't impress me. and from the comments in MDL, i'm not the only one. (i know. almost no one was impressive in that show. weak dialogues didn't help.) i know i'm sounding like hating on Tae but i'm not. truth is i think rather than dancing, acting or rapping, his best talent is singing. i wish he focuses more on that. fans telling him he's best actor while his true talent and skill lies somewhere else and he's actually a way better singer, it can hurt his career. if it already hasn't slowed it down. i mean, everyone found their musical directions in 2016 except Tae. while he adds the most details vocally (watch Spring Day live). instead of a drama, he could've worked more on his vocals, a solo or a cover. i believe doing a bit of every field never lets someone get deep into one. as you said, opinions differ. based on preferences. and it's up to V himself. but getting the right feedback is crucial to an artist. this is my way of supporting him. wait. what's with the long comment?!. sorry, it's typical me.

He's an idol, he's going to explore different parts of the entertainment business. He shouldnt stay confined to singing because he's the best at it.

Yall, as a stan I can proudly say Jimin and Taehyung have the biggest stage presence in the group. My favorite thing about Jimin performing is that he rarely ever half-ass any performance. You can see just how much he loves performing and how he is born to be on stage. He isn't even the traditional pretty boy type but he has this aura that pulls you in and it's something that cant be taught, you have to be born with it. And another thing is, he can make a choreography like it's his own. I'm so proud that he now has his own dance style, that when he moves on stage, you cant help but say "THAT'S SO JIMIN" and that's says A LOT about him being an amazing artist that he is. I love him so much so I hope he improves on singing live, unfortunately he still can be unstable at times, BUT KNOW THAT HE IS TRYING, he already said it on his log last year. MAKE THIS MOCHI FEEL LOVE AS MUCH AS WE CAN

Just an opinion: i wonder if this is a cultural thing. 'cause V's expressions seem bland to me. i just don't seem to connect with his facial expressions on stage. my sister and i both follow kpop.(only i stan BTS.) and she feelt the same. which makes me curious.
i connect more (actually most) with his voice. his is my favorite voice and vocal technique in BTS. otherwise, in both expressive dance and facial expressions, Jimin wins for me.
homa KP i'm actually not sure if your opinion has something to do with cultures. 😅 imo best performer is jimin, charisma and stage presence wise, while stability will always go to jungkook (vocal line). but what sets taehyung apart from the two is he knows how to control facial expression, mainly bc again imo he is the best actor of the group. best example about this would be his part in no more dream with his glasses thing.
No, I'm not saying Jimin is best actor. facial expressions while dancing are different than acting. acting is more controlled and based on words. it also depends highly on your partner. it's interactive.
while on stage, your partner's music. you mostly need to feel the music
and understand the dance. that understanding of the dance lines is lacking on Tae's part. in Spring Day i remember there was a part Tae actually was singing aggressive! too loud and extra. to the point that it distracted me. i haven't seen everyone do V's part in NMD. it wasn't actually a performance part, tho. anyway he did good. like Jimin did in his "aww" part in fire. or his bathtub part in INU (which i think was the best). or his part where he pulled the dancer up in NT. or his smile in "give me back my laughter" part in Lie performance. seriously, nothing can beat this last one.
aggressive songs like NMD and NT are right up Tae's alley (they say), but doing good (not best. the best was J-Hope or JK imo. JK at the shooting part was flawless) in them doesn't make him best. on the other hand, SD and NT are very different songs and Jimin nailed both their facial expressions. not to mention he managed to leave such huge impression with less than 3 lines, while Tae and JK were the center of the song.
besides, if we're talking bests, i can mention BS&T anytime. that's Jimin's 100% specialty and he killed it like no other. that's because he understands all types of songs and choreos best. his expressive face also helps.
Best actor is a different matter. for me, it's Hobbi. he's very natural at that. it's obvious even from latest vids like Run BTS 12. V was 2nd there, i admit.
I watched Hwarang when i wasn't yet an ARMY. Tae's acting in there didn't
impress me. and from the comments in MDL, i'm not the only one. (i
know. almost no one was impressive in that show. weak dialogues didn't
help.) i know i'm sounding like hating on Tae but i'm not. truth is i
think rather than dancing, acting or rapping, his best talent is singing. i wish he focuses more on that. fans telling him he's best actor while his true talent and skill lies somewhere else and he's actually a way better singer, it can hurt his career. if it already hasn't slowed it down. i mean, everyone found their musical directions in 2016 except Tae. while he adds the most details vocally (watch Spring Day live). instead of a drama, he could've worked more on his vocals, a solo or a cover. i believe doing a bit of every field never lets someone get deep into one.
as you said, opinions differ. based on preferences. and it's up to V himself. but getting the right feedback is crucial to an artist. this is my way of supporting him.

^^It was his acting debut, of course he still has a lot to improve lmao. Acting is something he said he enjoyed doing in particular, and wants to get better at. I take acting classes and for taehyung's first time, he did pretty well. Especially having to take on a big scene at the last few episodes, I expected it to flop and i'm surprised it didn't. He's an idol, he's going to explore different parts of the entertainment business. He shouldnt stay confined to singing because he's the best at it.
