I think my main questions are why Amelia specifically is so intertwined in this whole story, and why she used the Device to try and blow up a Mayan temple, or why she was with us on that boat in the beginning of the game, and why Asher's grandfather was also Asher which in my opinion has some wild implications unless he's adopted or something
I think Amelia is meant to be an agent working for Asher to reset the timeline, presumably in the hope of returning to the timeline where her plane doesn’t crash Though that does raise the question of why have her plant a bomb that he was going to defuse or kidnap Jimmy

Yep, the whole time the spirit and style of the game felt like "The longest journey". It felt like an adventure game and I think calling it "Escape room" style game is underselling it :)
Absolutely enjoyed every bit of this playthrough, from a magnificent masterpiece of an indie game to witty commentary with, dare I say, a very charming voice. It had everything, and you my dear sir have surely gotten a sub out of me.

I can't believe nobody had mentioned how similar this game is to Dark, the german series in Netflix. I mean the time travelling and all, the seemingly looping actions the characters make in order to "fix" the future, and specially that twist at the end.

The second game should start exactly like the first but then in the middle of a puzzle you wake up on the island with the items from the puzzle in front of you.

Such an interesting story, left the door open for a sequel. Just had an interesting thought, what if the heretics at the start of the game are the equivalent of the time cops at the end?
It would've been cool if when you when back to replay stuff, you started with the drums and showed the other clips while the musics was playing and maybe a clearer shot of the credits for a more movie like feel. And some of the singularity puzzle you skipped. But it was still good. Replaying of the drums gave this video a satisfying conclusion that the story was lacking. THANK YOU X)
