This is, by far, the best piece of work Team Ninja has ever done. Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate still remains one of my favorite fighting games to this day. This is practically a textbook example of a remake done perfectly.

Bass certainly takes being an over-protective father to a whole new level. I was always glad Tina's confidence took her to where she wanted it to go regardless of her father trying to stop her. Even though he just wants to be included in her life yet she strives for independence something I could relate to which is one of the reasons why I loved Tina so much. I want to tell Bass to get a clue...
I OWN all DOA games the levels here we’re sooooo beautiful! And the glow effect of the levels and characters skin was just sooo smooth and gave this game a beautiful texture!
I actually traded away my Xbox and Xbox 360 with DOA1, DOA2U DOABeachVolleyBall, DOA3, DOA4 and DOA5U for a PC upgrade and Overwatch. I regretted everything and what i've done cannot be undone. The game I got ended up being a LEGO TF2. Nothing similar to these masterpieces. Yet I could manage to buy DOA5LR on Steam and later on got the idea to use Parsec with people to actually multiplayer on Steam version because the online lobby of DOA5LR on Steam is trash. I never actually played any of the DOA games online eitherway because I had chipped xbox consoles and connecting them to the internet was always physically impossible. But god, what have I done is unforgivable.
@Enguarde unless you don't have eyes, your opinion is totally wrong. DOA 5 has way much better improvements. In terms of move sets of the characters, gameplay, texturing, VFX and so on. The way I see it, you just want to dismiss all of these facts because you're just of bad faith.
18:00 If i can remember, this was a rare cutsene you can get unless I'm thinking of DOA4, she talked fast and teleported out or shot at Kasumi. I remember seeing that scene once after beating someone.
To get that cutscene, make sure you're at a far enough distance from Kasumi once you've defeated her. It doesn't matter if you're on the lower level of the stage. Just make sure you're as far away from Kasumi as possible, and that cutscene is as good as yours.
If anyone comes across this video and speaks Japanese, can you translate what Ayane is saying at 18:04 (Did you notice she says this in DOA6 in her super)
It was a mystery to me in DOA3 why most characters had to encounter with Hayate in the story mode. My answer was buried within this episode of the game series. He lost his memories.
The best DOA game ever. DOA 2 was great and this is the best version of it. 1 was just testing grounds, 4 was okay, 5 and 6 could simply cease to exist if you ask me, and 3 was a letdown.

This game was the highlight of my childhood.

The opening is mesmerizing. From cutscenes to costumes Ultimate is the original pristine masterpiece glorified for the fans.
But will never replace the taste of the original.
Madd Smaxx it's actually miles greater than the original DOA2 which Itagaki was not proud of because the American release of DOA2 was unfinished.

Felipe Francisco And Amazing was the ending credits for 4. He was a huge Aerosmith fan.
Don't forget about Home Tonight which was used for the credits roll in Dead or Alive 3 after beating Story Mode with every character.
