Jerry's face is so perfect near the end where he's so proud of what he just did, while still looking all fake-judgmental. George glaring at him, knowing exactly what his buddy just pulled. love it

God its so perfect how the pez dispenser "lands" right while that dramatic note is being played. Its like a villain entering a scene in a movie or something. Juxtaposed by its goofy Tweety bird face. Lol yeah pretty damn funny.

@@rishik7665 It's just momentary. The serious, must-be-quiet situation, the dramatic music thus heightening the anxiety, and Jerry breaking it entirely by plopping that stupid pez dispenser on her lap - it is so completely out of place and absurd, and also signals to Jerry's emotional immaturity which adds to the humor.
      Overall, it's just a laughing-at-a-funeral situation.

I HATE when something that normally wouldn't be that funny strikes me as hilarious at the exact WRONG time! Then later, when it's ok to laugh, I can't force a laugh out at gunpoint. Example, when I was around 12-13, I was sitting with friends in church. It was packed, and I told my friend beside me to tell the other guy to scoot over a little for more room. The other guy wouldn't, so I said "put your head on his shoulder then so he'll move over," which he obliged. I did the muffled laugh/snicker/silent shakes for the whole sermon, which seemed like it lasted 5 hours!

My parents forced my friend and I go to church with them. We both thought attending church was the most boring thing you can do on a weekend so all we did was draw funny pictures in the pamphlets and try to make each other laugh. No more than 30 minutes into the sermon we would get kicked out and then hang out in the cafe till it was over. The rule was that whoever cracked up first had to buy donuts and coffee.

Several years ago a Mass was held for my deceased grandmother. This was on a weekday evening so aside from my family there was only a handful of other people in the church. The priest was an old man and as he walked down the aisle he appeared to have difficulty walking in a straight line. He would walk diagonally for a bit and then switch to the opposite direction as if was bouncing off an invisible wall about a foot from the side of the pews. My youngest brother, who is usually very respectful in church, observed this and started giggling. This "infected" our other brother and then spread to me. With the church being so empty it was clear that everyone noticed this and we got a lot of "what is wrong with you?" stares from family members. At the time this did not go over well with my family but today we all recall it as a pretty funny story, mostly because everyone knows we were all trying not to laugh but couldn't help it.

Ah... the 1st movement of Beethoven's "Grand Sonata Pathetique", Op. 13. The first movement strikes over 10,000 notes (if I remember correctly) and demands lots of endurance and balance with wrist staccato. The second movement is very famous; beautiful and somber. Funny... if I would play it, somebody always pulled out a Pez dispenser.

This actually happened to me in Carnegie Hall. Someone sitting next to me on my right was the Composer of the music being played on stage and everyone to my left was saying things to me while the violins and cellos were playing his music. I burst out laughing and couldn't stop laughing while the concert was on. The Composer of the Orchestral Piece was staring at me wondering why I was laughing so hard. Just like Elaine did here.

this is always funny, but it makes me feel guilty:
in 1960, when i was 7 years old,
me and my sisters (6 years and 2 years) went to an opera with our parents.
it was in Steynsburg, South Africa
my father was the head master
when the lady started to sign "funny", we started giggling! -- everytime
worst part, we sat right in front ... .... ...
to this day i still feel guilty!
