This is definitely one of the cooler things I've been sent. Thanks for checking it out.

That's really nice, it has all the features that I'd want, though I'd like more octaves (I realise it would then be less portable). I'm still using a midi keyboard I bought around the turn of the century, it has a solid feature set. It doesn't feel great and I'd definitely like something more modern but until that gives up the ghost I couldn't justify it. It's always great to watch a review of this stuff though.

You're singing to the choir. My main MIDI controller for the last 15 years or so has been an M-Audio Oxygen Gen2. I think those came out around 2005 or so. Honestly, it just works and I'm used to it so I've never really went searching for anything else. The Synido model is nice but I also was gifted an Arturia KeyStep recently... so I'm playing around with each of them. Both are several steps above the old Oxygen but I have to say I enjoy the extra octave on the Keystep (so I get your point).
Oh, and thanks for checking out the video.

I am not much of a MIDI guy but, I would probably like that with some Hammond sounds.

You could definitely create organ sounds with it. I'm actually pretty impressed by the features for the price. Thanks for checking it out.

You did a great job with Mapping the midi stuff. That always confounds me. Nice little controller.
Wow that harp was very authentic. What library is that from ?
Synido makes some nice stuff ! And very inexpensive and love the cases and all the accessories but I agree with the case zipper. Funny

I believe that was the default harp patch in GarageBand. It sounds pretty good huh? Thanks for checking it out. Synido seems to be a good company.

I was thinking $99, that's not too much less than the M-Audio Pro 49 I bought a few years ago. Then I looked up the current price, nearly $130 more than what I paid for one. Ouch! That would make the Synido more attractive as an option.

@@jfrankcarr Yeah. Prices on all small electronics went crazy in the last few years. It’s jaw dropping. Thanks for commenting.

Need to show how you program them

I guess I could've spent more time on that. I forget not everyone has done this before. When I pull up the software editor (around 4:35), you can see every button/knob has a CC value above or below it. You just set the parameter that you want to control there and then click write. That's pretty much it.
However, the CC parameters don't say volume, filter cutoff, LFO rate, etc, they're each assigned a number. Then you reference the synth's manual to see what each # corresponds to. Unfortunately, there's no "standard" across all synths. Value #6 may control volume on one synth and filter cutoff on another. You really do need to reference the manual. This process is not unique to this keyboard. That's how you program all MIDI controllers.

Im dumb when it comes to this kinda stuff but could you use it wiht a mobile device?

Yes. You certainly could (provided you had some sort of mobile app that understands MIDI of course). I may do a follow up video about that.
