A few basic tools from data analysis can be really useful in everyday life. I'm a physicist trying to figure out how to make some of the most useful tools (Bayes' Theorem, gaussian statistics, a good understanding of error bars) accessible to the general public. These tools can be really useful in trying to understand the world around us and make better decisions.

A concise and grounded explanation of extended perception and collective interpretation. What a rarity: well-reasoned hope for humanists in a world of recklessly narrow hype for anything quantifiable: duh data. Ceci n'est pas une pipe!

Those dots in his "visual illusion" are actually different sizes. I'm not sure if it's purely due to perspective error (the screen is at an angle), but if you screenshot the image and measure the dots you'll see that the one on the right is larger by a fair margin.

Yes, difference in video is perspective of camera. Image is from the Ebbinghaus Illusion / Titchener Circles (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebbinghaus_illusion).

can you please tell me, how can we differentiate business intelligence and data science?

+Siddhant jivane Traditional BI involves generating dashboards for historic data display according to a fixed set of key performance metrics, agreed upon by the business. Therefore, BI relies more on reports, current trends, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Data science focuses more on predicting what might eventually happen in the future. Data scientists are thus more focused on studying the patterns and various models and establishing correlations for business forecasts.

      +Ivan Nel :
in short we can say analysing past is BI ,and predicting future is data science based on data.
      thanks.
