I was just asked this question for an interview. I always go with a light color and a dark color. If I gotta just choose one each I go with sakura solid white for the light color, and I a pilot jumbo black for my dark color. I feel with just these 2 you could hit most street spots, just no real grimy spots or super rough one’s… mops are super versatile also.
Same. I carry light and dark. I usually carry 2 of each if I'm going on a mission, and a can of white and black
Yeah definitely the extremes of the colour pallet are important to have. I've found I've had bad luck with the white sakuras specifically but I'm all for the solid sticks in general

For me I usually just always take a correction pen (can find them at the dollar tree), a couple slaps, solid markers, and a paint pen (uni, pilot, Pentel, sharpie, etc). I don't like loading up with too much stuff
Very smart. That's the only thing with the mops. Even the smallest ones are a bit bulky, accept for a few cutty mops or the 007, but the correction pens never fail you and can lay down tons of tags!
@@ScizGraffiti they for sure do! I like to Mike ink and stuff in them go get custom colors. Sometimes they get a little deflated depending on what you add. you just got to experiment a little though. Besides the bulk of mops I try to keep thing relatively clean. K usually always bag my markers though
The Masterpiece is for fine art. Like Calligraffiti. IMO.

Where was Uni posca or the Textmark?My TOP3 1.1cm x 1cm Pilot(black). 2. 1-2cm squeezer (ya can shoplift those shoe polishers or little deodorant bottles and use sponge and put little piece from pantyhose, then some ink.. ) and then nro.3 (the best) Solid marker because if ya live country where winter means snow, -10'C and other shit like 4 monts from the year then Solid markers are solid cause they works -20'C-+20'C on many different surfaces p.s don't buy these mixed markers because they crack easily you only use half of them on the wall/etc a large part crumbles off especially the more colors are combined in the marker.. Thats my opinion and sorry my english but I live in same country than Santa Claus and Rudolf.. 🦌❄🎨😘but im still learning cause i think that i have 20years making graffiti behind me and next 20-40years ahead. its been fun, some of my brothers are already dead, was in prison for a while on different occasions for the same thing, graff. But still my heart beats to the Graff! And i love trains, illegal walls and bombing with nice and smooth markers but also like do 2 color throw-ups but like in 1-2 min cause vandalism is art and art is vandalism -AIR, active 1987 and still rockin', my mentor and Bro for life!

tractor supply sells large solid paint sticks as livestock markers. they come in three colors and are perfect for making your own splits. two packs live in my street kit.
As long as it leaves a marks it valid but these some of the best
I always have a grog squeezer mini 10mm they are very underrated and are so tiny that you can quickly write and put him back in your pocket. I also use an Montana pump marker empty and sometimes a mini Montana can with a needle cap.
My go-to is a 15-20mm drip mop. I am kind of new to street tagging, so I came here to find a good mop. I really like the idea of using a shoe polisher. keep up the good work!

my go to markers is my street dabber, grog cutter 15, px30,solid marker and bic whiteout pen👍🏻 also usually will bring stickers and paint
unfortunately i lost my uni nib and am out of spraypaint atm not that anyone cares
Haha the Bic whiteout pens are a nice one but I can't seem to not lose mine 😵 rip the lack of paint. Always sad when there's no paint around

I mainly been using the micheals cheapo version of the PILOT jumbo. Works great and its a great size. Come in white and black. You can flip from Chizled to Straight. Also keep a One 4 All black. Honestly i dont use it as much because i always have to pump it up or it streaks on me. So if im hitting a gas pump and I dont have much time i wont use it. That Craft version of the Pilot marker is one of my main go toos. Id like to get ahold of a streaker. I got a few mops that i made but i dont use them when im jus going about with my day. Those are for when im actually getting up. Or going on a walk to the corner store a few block down lol.

Shoe polisher full of burner chrome, split streaker, mop full of super staining ink, a mop full of metal etch, and an Elmer’s glue bottle full of exterior paint (for ground tags)
The Elmers bottle definitely is 2 steps above any metal head for ground tags 👌👌

I like to keep at least 2 uni silvers, 2 oil based sharpie markers (heavily slept on), a few sakuras and a couple cheap metallic krylon cans with some adaptable fat caps💯😎
Yeah I've never been able to get the oil based sharpies to work consistently, but when they do, they're write on even the dirtiest of surfaces which is super nice 👌
The grog mini 20 is one of the things I grab literally every time I leave the house.

Bro i would recommend you If you only carry one Marker a Pump Action BC you can Hit different spots, everything you can Hit with a mop you can Hit with a Pump Action. But you can not Hit everything that you can Hit with a Pump Action with a mop. I really Like the otr bullet, perfect for the pockets

For me i rock a 10mm mop in black a Grog metal head in white, Artprimo's Big Squeeze and a Pilot Silver "Broad" all fits in my jacket pocket 🙏

i only carry my markars in my pocket, so i only carry one pump action marker(otr bullet) and sometimes also a otr 003 all filled up with otr hard to buff. If i am going out with the intention to do graff, i also take a solid, a cutter, cans and diffrent mop sizes with me
Yeah i know only otr products, i have more but these work the best for me.
Perfectly fair. The marker only set up is what I would do a lot when I knew i was coming up to a line of just tanker trains haha sounds weird but it works well for that too

my essential carries are a pilot, white out marker, grog 10 mm, grog 25 mm and a rust marker.
The grog 25 😵 props for that one. I always feel like I have to work so hard to find big enough spots to write with that one haha. Super fun marker though always
I usually carry a 25mm mop and 10mm mop 8 400ml cans 4mm marker and a magic ink chisel tip marker (i use a backpack)

I carry a pack of paint markers. They're cheap and do the thing.
I used to make NYC mops but they're messy af no matter what you do to the lid so I stopped making them
My everyday do-everything graff loadout is as follows: a grocery store Bic Wite Out pen filled with 50/50 Rusto enamel and actual correction fluid (faster drying and doesn't disappear as bad on porous surfaces as straight rusto bucket paint, but much more permanent and durable than straight wite-out) with a little ball pen ink thrown in for color, an 8mm Posca filled with Golden High Flow acrylic for opacity and Daler FW for cheapskate-ness, a 10mm Chroma window chalk drip mop full of whatever I fancy at the time (usually either thinned Rusto enamel or dollar store acrylic) AND with the nib felt replaced with a piece of Scotch Brite for durability (can do quite a few tags on concrete before it wears out), and finally, a standard Markal or MeanStreak depending on what I feel like at the time. Sometimes I'll slip one of those ColorShot skinny cans they got at Walmart in a pocket too, great spray paint considering it'll fit in a pair of jeans IN THE SAME POCKET as the rest of the loadout.
Nice. I have tried to add some inks to my white out pens (the Bic ones) but I find usually the solvent ones end up solidifying unfortunately. I'll have to try your combos for better results!
@@ScizGraffiti yeah, I find that for ball pen and alcohol inks it works a lot better with 50/50 wite out and rusto bucket paint. Also, for future reference, CRC electronic cleaner in the spray cans works great for un-clotting it, you can also add some proactively to PREVENT clots and help it dry even faster. It also helps to refill with store brand wite out with isohexane as the solvent instead of just naphtha like Bic stuff.
molotow masterpiece dripstick 10mm, molotow one4all chizel, any paintstick is fine, machinestore metalmachine, and ofc always a few cans, my favorites being the molotow burner chromes and any 94 can.
I like a 10mm mop too. Can still fill the big utility boxes with it but also thin enough to fit on smaller spaces. I have a long tag though that can’t really be shortened.
The 10mm is definitely a staple! I tend to like the 10mm nibs coupled with the fatter body markers to get that extra squeeze haha

Yo sciz. I am looking to buy some new ink but idk which one to get? Do you have a preference for some ink. Because I have now an otr bullet 4001 but when I tag whit the ink the marker comes with it gives streeky lines and I have a molotow one4all but idk which ink I should get.
Funny you mention that, cause you'll see an otr built marker in a video coming out over the next couple months! I personally like the otr inkredible ink. It's a fairly reasonable price but it's super good quality I have found. I do have to say the Dang inks have been good too the little bit that I used them

Honorable mention to a juicy black Magic Ink glass body
after a few years i only take one bronze 5mm mini mop and a black 5mm mini mop for tagging, u can hit most spots with those, sometimes if im going on a bigger walk i take a black 15mm mini marker and a pocket can. u rlly dont need much stuff for just tagging, bombing is different story

Molotow one4all 627hs 15mm is rlly good, i also take a pilot pintor pen with my own buff proof ink and a molotow dripstick

hey im new to graffiti but what do you think are some good markers i should buy as a beginner that's like not too expensive or advanced and stuff?
honestly the markers aren't too important when you're starting out. It's good to get practice with almost anything and not spend the extra money on the expensive stuff too early on id say. That goes for the sketching markers, the tagging markers and the paint for the most part. I still even use mostly budget paint on pieces even now :)

From time to time I like to take the ink from the art primo metal tip squeezer and put it in a mop or into my Uni/Pixo too . The mix is just so durable and hard to buff . Wish they sold the ink separately

So i take a red grog squeezer 25 mm and a green grog squeezer 20 mm
And a molotov squeezr 10 mm ink
I love the grog 25mm but I find it soooo big haha. I can never find enough opportunity to use it to justify bringing with me all the time, especially considering how big it is. But if you have the spots for it, perfect!

Wish I had a steel tip or a paint stick. I’m always seeing rough walls that I want to tag but can’t put a good tag on it because I only have the regular pump action chisel tip paint markers
Yeah the paint sticks are nice for that, but the metal tips are usually able to give a more consistent line on those types of surfaces I have found. It's a bit of a tradeoff I guess

how hard do you press or etc. squeezer when making tags on a really rough or similar concrete surface where could the nib break? and is the sronghair nib more durable than the flowtex(grog). Second time I ask :/
when writing on rough surface with mop dont push the marker into the wall it will break ur nib just lighty glide over the wall while squeezing the mop more to get more ink or paint out

I really liked the size of the otr bullet but I managed to clog the nib by trying to put soultip paint though it. Was a good marker till I did that haha. Now I just need a new nib

i have 2 kiwi shoe polish mops in my car, my car has like 30 mops in it to be fair tho 🤣. I have the brush tip and 45° sponge. the headier one is a screw on cap Rusto floor stain. it makes a decent homebrew mixin too
*edit went thru a crazy correction pen phase, the calligraphy tip ones from Fade are pretty slick... I like the AP setup with the slim 50ml body and the metal ball tip they use for Dr. Guts. I rock those empties with all kinda shit.

i made a home made mop felt tip nib out of a jumbo marker writes so fat I love it with the good old pen ink mixed with break fluid and wood stain works a treat plus it's on a budget 👌🏻

@@TRENT698- thank you. This mix sounds very stain-y and corrosive. My guess was that any plastic marker would have a short shelf life with a recipe like this which is why I was guessing that you were rocking a marker with a metal body.

Deoroll-on, sponge and little piece of stockings and ya have destruction 2,5-5cm Squeezer u can fill it 1 or 2 times and when its empty u just but it to the trash can.. 15-20years ago there doesnt have markers,mops and caps like now u just go to the store like kid in a candy shop and just buy what u want.. Thatsway i like racked cans cause they arent as good like molotow but they are free and when u steal all cans and do nice piece on subway or grey concrete its much more satisfaying cause u know that coverment pays the dues!! Ol'skool know and many younger ones :) This is my opinion! And trolls, i also sometimes support our local spraycan dealer that sometimes i bought my paints but its so odd cause like 400-600ml black is like 5-8usd.. Or free.. Keep it real and we all was toys when we start!

wax feels good on glass but so easy to take off unfortunately. A good combo though!
