I have this from 89,my father was bought this 0 meter from karachi, we are first owner still now, everything is genioun and company fitted. My suv is 3 door, non touchups ,totally driven 132k.engine like brand new. Totally genioun and each and every thing is good working condition
I have a 89 reconditioned 98 Exceed automatic shampan colour ,keeping it from last 27 years loved this suv 8 to 10 km average and easy to maintain and very comfortable family car.
Aoa could you please tell me its top speed and how reliable is this. I want to get one to visit our rural agri lands. I would need to travel through motorway from lahore to fateh jang frequently. Thanks
@@herri18 it's around 120 km but I don't drive it above 90 , it's very reliable this is why it's still with me ,my advice is to buy a genuine condition vehicle no alterations .

Proudly, I still drive my Generation 1 Pajero. It's my third. It's taken me to nearly every nook and cranny of the country. I'm not selling it. The spare wheel mounted at the rear door is a convenience. The one underneath gets dirty easily and becomes too messy to change.
@@zahidsatti6932 it is old technology, heavy on fuel --- used to do 13 km / litre on manual transmission, now on automatic transmission it gives me around 11 km / litre (but I have larger tyres and lots of metal contraptions

It's my life first machine which bought learn driving on it and took it on sawat mountains believe me it was awesome and when it's running it's start floating on road

@@johankhadka7157 You may be right. I saw the first gen SWB in 1983. My neighbour had a brand new silver color SWB. It had a round headlamp and a front silver garnish on the bonnet lid with Mitsubishi prominently written in widely spaced letters. Pretty imposing back then !!! The Landcruiser, Patrol, Trooper and Rocky were its competitors. There were no Euro SIVs back then. Save for the odd Range Rover.

I think its underpowered such an heavy vehicle with 2.5L non turbo diesel engine. Off-road capabilities of suzuki potohar is better than this suv even with little 1.0L gasoline engine and lightweight body

Unfortunately I read many comments , saying it's average around 6km/ltr in city.
I m surprised if it's giving 9/10.

Not first gen. There was a SWB version before this. It came with round headlamps.
This is the first gen lwb high roof . It also has round headlamps behind the bullbar
