- An astable multivibrator is a circuit that is continuously switching its output voltage between high and low levels. It has no stable state. The Blinking LED circuit is based on the astable mode of the 555 timer, which generates continuous output wave form at pin number 3 in form of square wave.

Thanks for this video mate. Is it possible to simulate the CMOS version of NE555, lets say ICM7555 with Kicad ? I am trying to figure that out currently.
Yes there are two ICM7555xB and ICM7555xP both from intersil now part of Renesas. Unfortunately I dont have the model files, maybe you can find at the Supplier website for the model file
Could you link files with libraries that contain spice models, really need that.

can't the LED flash inside the simulator?
Tried to do that on Kicad but did not get the desired result
