We had great olympic shooters, they all moved overseas with the absurd gun laws. All because some wombat shot people with a gun that was already outlawed 20 years earlier (and in fact handed in to Vic police no less, but somehow made it to Tassie). 0 lawful gun owners have ever committed a crime with their firearms (albeit suicide of a few old farmers with cancer back when suicide was a crime) yet we all copped it in the neck for nought. Stupidest part is 86% of Aussies think our gun laws 'aren't tough enough'. Including nearly 100% of women. Because they see movies and think they're real life and don't understand criminal gangs don't care to follow the law on importing guns.
