This melody has been stuck in my head for the longest time, so I ended up doing a quick little cover of it! The instrumentation I utilized was Ocarina, String Ensemble, and Piano. I haven't really done too much work mixing MIDI strings, so this was a fun experience and I learned a lot when I was mixing this, and I was surprised with the results!

I would like to hear it in the Reunion party of all of my friends who watched this movie with me years ago. To remember those golden days of childhood life with those who've lost it somewhere in the past like me. It didn't just calmed Dialga & Palkia & healed Palkia's crystal but also healed my wounds of time & calmed my soul. With regrets to lose those good old days & tears in my eyes, ORACION LIVES FOREVER....

A perfect song for all of us who all know this song and the movie cuz what you said it's the truth when i listen to this song sometimes i still feel the pain but then remember how strong i'm now thanks pokemon i still play you're games and watch the movies you make i feel like the wounds pain and tears are leaving with everyday i feel the pain and sadness of the wounds of the past are healing but the scars woll be therw forever but when i look at them i understand that thea are signs of victory and that i won that hard and dificult fight that give me that scar

I found it... years of searching...
There was a tune from my childhood I could not remember. Having had 3 concussions, my memories have always been fuzzy. But there was a tune I remember hearing long ago that searched and searched for it but I just couldn't find it... until I found this video. When I herd it, everything came flooding back. Memories of me playing Pearl & Platinum with my brother & sister, playing it while waiting for a Dive Meet to start, a tune I would hum to myself at twilight while playing with the kids on the street. It was this melody, and those simpler times came back.
I can't thank you enough for making this. It's beautiful. Now an adult, I can remember those times I had watching this movie.

I barely remember what the movie was about, but even 10 years later Oracion still still brings tears to my eyes
Dialga and Palkia who were said to be eternally separated crossed paths in the space time rift and then battle each other, their battle would eventually envelope Alamostown where Ash and his friends were at the time. At first everybody but a few thought it was Darkrai causing distortion, but later they learned it was the battle between Dialga and Palkia that was distorting time and space and realized Darkrai was trying warn them about the two deities. When Alamostown got caught in the battle Darkrai tried to stop Dialga and Palkia but they were too strong for him and eventually Darkrai himself was defeated in battle. There was a solution to this chaos and the answer was Oracion the song with the power to soothe fearstes rage. When the song was played at the Space Time Tower in Alamostown it soothed their rage, it stopped the fighting, it healed Palkia who was wounded at the time, the two deities became friends, and Palkia brought Alamostown back to the way it was and it even brought Darkrai back too. I hope this helped you.
I found this video out of sheer coincidence. And it has been so long since i heard a song that made me just stop, close my eyes, and listen. Just as beautiful as i remember it being in the movie.

I do not know what it's like to lose a loved one, but the sadness over nostalgia may just be the closest emotion to that. The fresh feeling of playing a game, jumping onto the music, the lore... the feeling of hearing the song of the movie you watched and remember as a child
I love this theme, it's so peaceful and makes me so happy that I grew up with Pokemon. I still love Pokemon to this day. You did a great job with this cover, keep up the great work.

Something about this particular piece gets to me. I can't help but tear up a little every time I hear either the original or any renditions, which this song is perfect for an ocarina.

Why does this calm me down like the stress I had. The empty war inside my head is gone it will happen again but it’s peaceful now. Why do I feel healed in a way. Well it was meant to calm down the legends of Space and Time. So hopefully it could do the same for the voices in your head.
Oracion was a song that would calm the heart and mind of any who heard it. It calmed the anger between Dialga and Palkia after all.
This makes me feel a little old, but I cling onto the Rise of Darkrai DVD like my life depends on it. I kid you not, I value it over some friends and family.

Brings back my happy childhood memories being at my grandparents house back in 2007 and watching this movie. Reminds me of when I would spend my times with my grandad before he passed away.
The days cartoons and movies being like this have gone and will never come back. Cartoons and movies are not the same anymore and will never be. I love Pokemon and still do even though I’m 26 and will continue loving it. Oracion is one of my favourite soundtracks alongside the Pokémon theme song, I just love it! ❤️

I just kept hitting reply for 20 minutes, not only was this a beautiful piece of music but it was from the very first pokemon movie I ever watched and Sinnoh was the very first pokemon series I watched when I was really young. As I grew older the memory of the song started to fade even though it meant so much to me, being able to re-listen and to remember good memories of my childhood is why I love this so much
The Pokemon franchise was part of my childhood as well, I was obsessed with the soundtracks then and still am now
Pokemon has always been and will be the best part of my childhood. And same, rise of darkrai was the very first pokemon movie i watched and this song enchanted me. I can feel you my friend
Growing up on the spectrum, i would often have meltdowns as a kid. These meltdowns often ended in me attacking my co-students, though at the time, this was just treated as me being aggressive, because i didn't get a diagnosis until i was 10 or so, so i never got any proper treatment for it. My resident school bullies eventually picked up on this, and would purposefully push me into having such meltdowns, just to then run to the nearest teacher and tell them that i'm beating someone up again.
I was a few days short of 8 when this movie came out. I never saw it in cinemas, but when i saw it on TV, it was one of the things that made me fall in love with Pokemon. Come one of the days where i had another meltdown, and i remember this song. The scene in the park, where the Pokemon almost go into an all out brawl over a single berry, just to be calmed by this melody. The clocktower growing wings as Oracion plays, calming two literal deities down and stopping them from destroying the town they're fighting in. And it had the same effect on me. That was the first time i managed to stop myself. That was when i learned that i could be more than a diagnosis.

oh damn, the ocarina is such a good instrument for this, surprisingly close to the leaf whistle sound
Yes and no, i get what you mean but the leaf whistle sounds more raspy, i think it sounds more close to a flute than to a leaf whistle, of course an ocarina is pretty much (in effect) a miniature flute but you know what i mean
its funny, i used to suffer with terrible nightmares but now having this play at night as i sleep....it all fades away

For me it did more than just make me feel better. as a kid, i had numerous outbursts due to undiagnosed ASD and ADHD, and i'd get violent during those outbursts. Until one day, i remembered this melody during one of those outbursts. That was the first time i realized that i could control these outbursts if i wanted to.
