I think it’s brilliant for when you sit down at a bar or restaurant so you can just slap the wallet down and forget about without worrying about it getting knocked off the table or something. But then when you get up I would expect most people to detach the two and put in different pockets.

wallet cases have been a thing for years, less bulky, more secure, just better in every practical way. I don't really get the point of this product beyond a marketing tool for magsafe

If you’re looking for a new Mac I can recommend the 2020 5K 27“ Mac. I use it at work every day and it’s absolutely stunning! Even my colleagues see the difference between their 4K and my 5K screen.
Ok it makes sense now that you mention that the wallet is still considered as a separate piece. When I saw videos of the wallet falling off easily I thought the wallet was a straight fail. Now it makes sense.
I bought a few other magnetic wallets not wanting to pay the apple tax for the official wallet, ended up throwing the others out and getting the apple wallet. This is what I should have had the whole time. Love how it notifies me when I detach it with a location of where it was detached…
I think after multiple review videos on this case, this is the first positive review. It’s not supposed to be the most magnetic wallet then it’d be annoying to take off and on. It was made to be taken off and On quickly. like the video.
It's perfect for germans. We cannot pay everything with credit card (Apple Pay), we need for a lot of businesses a girocard (not apple pay compatible). And for a girocard it's perfect.

Had this one about a year and 2 months. It definitely shows it’s age and patina, but it still does what it’s supposed to. I am changing to an Ink colored wallet now

I just upgraded to the iPhone 13pro and have a unique reason to get either an Apple Wallet or Battery Pack, or another kind of wallet….because the Popsocket Magsafe sucks...but the main reason is that it's in the center of the phone, which is ergonomically uncomfortable for one hand (thumb) texting or just general usage of the phone. I used to have the Speck grabtab attached (via adhesive) to the back of my old case for my iPhone Xs and really loved it..So I'd like to have the wallet or battery pack, or any other rectangular magnetized accessory that I can apply a new Speck grabtab to…or a wallet with finger loop.
Got it but didn’t love that you have to detach it to remove the cards. Just not for me tbh. Ended up returning it and getting the MOFT snap on phone stand and wallet instead, big fan! Great review as always

It kind of works but defeats the object of everyday practical carry. Limited card carry and it’s always good to have some cash just in case. Also if you lose your iPhone or someone steals it with card then your f****** if in the middle of nowhere and alone. Always have separate small wallet and some money. Losing your wallet is a bummer and pain changing your card details but losing both your wallet and your iPhone that hurts especially if you don’t have insurance a very expensive painful ordeal!
Good video showing off the product but I don’t see a use for it. If you’re not going to attach it to the phone, then why have it? If you’ve more than 1 card in it, you have to take them all out. You have to take the wallet off the phone to use it. If you’re using it as a backup in case your phone gets lost/stolen, you don’t want a wallet that’s attached to your phone.
The quality looks pretty good but I'm seeing a bit of noise in the shadows and dark parts. Maybe it's part of your grading process? Otherwise sharpness is there
I already use ApplePay for all my debit and credit cards but I have 4 ID cards and 1 aditional I need to carry that cannot be put into ApplePay and I just hate that it doesn´t fit all of them inside this beatiful apple wallet.
Does the Vallet bleed dye/color if it gets wet? Like if I hold it with sweaty hands, or if I clean/rub it with damp cleaning cloth, wet paper towel, etc, would the dye transfer from Vallet to the paper towel or cloth? Thank You 🙏🏻

It's nice, but I just can't get behind it. You know that there is a scenario just waiting around the corner where you grab your phone, flip it over to get a card and BOOM....nothing there. It'll happen at some point I think and that is a horrible, day ruining moment.
Next year, or a few years from now, apple are gonna put a slit on the front or a pull tab or something, so that people can pull out cards without taking off the wallet and call it "revolutionary"

A different colour wallet to the case will offer attach/detach confirm at a glance when not in hand.
