Great informative videos about dynatrace. Thanks a lot. I see you mentioned that your org does not use dynatrace anymore. Can you please tell some good alternatives that provide similar functionality. Thanks in advance.
hey thanks! if you search for "gartner magic quadrant apm" (www.gartner.com/en/documents/3983892), you can find plenty of results and images (and yes, Dynatrace is still 1 of the leaders). We've taken the approach of "Open Telementry", which provided a whole new range of options for us, it allows us to switch tools without much trouble - you can even use self hosted ones for start-ups.
@@florindomantonio hey we're not using Dynatrace any more, here is an answer ChatGPT provided: -- To find the average failure rate of all services in Dynatrace, you can follow these steps: 1. Log in to your Dynatrace account. 2. On the left sidebar, click on "Transactions & services". 3. In the "Filter by" section, you can select specific criteria to filter the services you're interested in (e.g., by tags, management zones, or technology). 4. Once the services list is filtered, you will see a column named "Failure rate" in the table. This column shows the percentage of failed requests for each service. 5. To calculate the average failure rate across all services, you can export the data to a CSV file by clicking the "Export" button on the top right corner of the "Transactions & services" page. 6. Open the CSV file in a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. 7. In the spreadsheet application, locate the column with the failure rates. 8. Calculate the average failure rate for all the services in the column by using the AVERAGE function in Excel or Google Sheets. For example, if the failure rates are in column B and there are 10 services, you can type the formula =AVERAGE(B2:B11) in an empty cell to calculate the average failure rate. Once you've completed these steps, you will have the average failure rate for all services in your Dynatrace account. Keep in mind that the data may change as new requests come in and the monitoring period progresses, so you might want to periodically repeat these steps to keep your average failure rate up to date.
What a great video!!! Thanks, Tran. Stay blessed... :)
