My question with this word knowledge section is, how do you pick the correct answer? English is my second language, so is there anyway to solve the word knowledge as it is in maths? Thanks
Use the word in a sentence break down the suffix prefix and root word sometimes it gives you clues to the meaning. I would look over suffix and prefix meanings. English is complex the root words are usually derived from other languages.
www.myenglishteacher.eu/blog/prefixes-suffixes-list/ This site would be a good start i have a few asvab books but they don't really break down the words your best bet is to get familiar with prefix and suffixes as many as you can to get comfortable with making educated guesses And sometimes the synonymous word will sound like the word you need to define but not all the time ! Compare the answer choices even if you dont have a clue what the word means
