considering madama butterfly is feared in inferno by other demons, she holds higher status than most. demons might be able to decline contracts with witches
And I love how Bayo and madama seem to have a deeper connection than just a contract😊
I think all the demons involved got a shit ton of notoriety in inferno for helping. especially when all of the other worlds were restored.

MATORB PAMPT just hits different. I love all of the ennochian chants but this one has a certain timbre.
MATORB PAMPT translates to: Echoing unto me! So maybe not a certain timber but a certain echo? XD
To me it feels like it hits the closest to the old chants in the other games. Though "PDEE BARMA" for Madama Butterfly will ALWAYS be the most epic one for me.
the biggest achievement bayo ever did rn is "keep 2 sin demons at the same time for a long period" she litterally can die just from keeping sin gomorah on as humanly as possible but adding queen butterfly adds more higher risk and less time... its like putting a semi-small hole on a barrel,more holes more easier to empty it...
also the most destructive demon is "The phantom" that thing litterally made a black hole just from blowing up... even tho yes some demons are more stronger but still its a black hole...
Bayonetta never shown any strain being put on her body when summoning Madama Butterfly using the SIN ritual, vs all the other demons.
This could be because Butterfly is her main contracted the demon and is the source of most of her powers as a witch, so summoning her probably feels like second nature.

Rewatching the summons, I'm realising so many people might have died during all of this. Lmao
16:38 I feel like that would be a bit of a red flag. The base is able to prevent demons from being summoned, yet can't block homunculi from entering.
It doesn't even make sense, cause if the purpose was to kill Jeanne, they did a poor job, and if the purpose was for Sigurd to get saved by her, why create that complication for Jeanne?
@@HeartOfClod I can see the reasoning. Firstly, it would help make the rescue more convincing. Secondly, it would require her to use more energy to get to him making it easier to kill her later.

As MUCH as I love Butterfly and her and Bayonetta's relationship, looking at the state that Bayonetta was in, who's to say that Butterfly wouldn't double cross her and try to take her soul? I know the lore says that their relationship goes beyond the contract, but Butterfly is still a demon and Bayonetta is a powerful witch with a powerful soul....
I just dont like the thought of summoning any demon when you're in such a vulnerable state

A possibilities I heard from others is that: Gomorrah requires fewer magic than other demons, but it is more destructive and harder to control (Perhaps thats why Bayonetta can summon Sin Gomorrah and Queen Butterfly at once)

Based on what I heard, it's because it was a mistranslation.
"Stewardess" still suites Butterfly since she entered a contract to aid Bayonetta whenever needed.

@@digifreak90 because those demons aren’t technically hers. She formed contracts with various demons from different timelines, and presumably they have different summoning chants depending on their Bayonetta’s realm.

Egyptionetta summoning the Malphas at 29:55 is my favorite. I just love the timbre and the camera angles. So satisfying.

They changed the incantations to better suite the demons you summon in 3.
Gommorah only retains his original because it's iconic, with him being the very first demon that made a cutscene appearance in the series.

Why when summoning the sin monsters she need to rip out her heart ? How does that not kill her ?
From what I understand of what she say during the sin summons she is just offering her blood, and about her heart, who knows, umbra witch logic probably
The magic she radiates sustains her body long enough to perform the act. It’s the same rules as her other ancient techniques, powerful enough to defy normal limitations but they run out quickly.
Shes am immortal witch, she needs her watch (umbran heart) broken or she needs to be killed by a demon AND have her soul sent to hell.

There are lines recorded for bayonetta to summon Alrauna, kraken, Labolas and Rodan. They are never fully used because Bayonetta never summons the above outside of demon slave

They seriously should have saved the sin summon where she rips her heart out for the final fight. By having her use it every time she finishes a fight really just ruined the suspense

My only problem with Jennifer Hale's voice acting is how delicate it is compare to Helena Taylor's seductress and playful like. I hate how she nailed it because that's how Bayonetta should sound like because no one can't replace her. They just match the way Bayonetta speaks but the change become obvious when it comes to summons, it sounded weak except the DO O IA BAYONETTA part that sounded beautifully and perfect and wished she did that with the other summons, sound more conviction.
This is just my opinion and again, Jennifer Hale did a decent job voicing Bayonetta. Been replaying the game and I kinda used to it by now. I know she could do better in the next installment.
