Thank you so much PG for showing all those cool bands that aren't that famous but kick serious ass, Elder, and Torche specifically, it's always a nice insight into our fav scenes :)
Their separate tones compliment each other so well but I immediately recognized Steve's - so rich and wooly! Would've appreciated Steve going through his stuff but Nunez is a great representative either way.
Would've been cool to go more in-depth, isn't that the point of these... Ask him to let us hear how those guitars with the flubby bomb bottom strings sound! What is his always on Echorec set to? How does he use the Arpanoid? I didn't get that.
See them live and tell me their tone is just “fine”. Absolutely blew my dick off with their sound, Meshuggah and converge sounded weak af after torche played.
Not in America. Anyway, words are only language and language is used to communicate. So the subtle differences in the way people may say certain words is meaningless. As long as we grasp the meaning of the words correctly it matters not ow we articulated them! -Peter BTW Fantastic video! He is so articulate, even to the nth degree.
@goobtuber I agree it doesn't matter but most of the time its americans taking the u out to dumb it down, the english have been speaking english a little longer
@goobtuber That's not true, lol, modern English emerged in the 14th century, and middle English and old English, neither of which are too different to understand pretty quickly, has been around since the 5th century. Britain has pubs older than your country.

Nuñez pretty much interviewed himself
@Toxic Potato Totally
He would always hang out in the crowd during Torche's warm up bands and was super friendly. I'm not surprised.
Rig Rundown, "Parent Trap"-style
Nunez seems like a good guy. And his amps sound awesome.

I finally got to hear his amps live. It wasn’t torche, it was a band called Glassing. So incredibly badass.

Drop Z tuning, baby!
Loved this episode so much!
a florida man to be proud of, awesome stuff
South Florida makes such badasses, torch, poison the well, marylin Manson, cavity, gran Hechicero, AAA unreal
His enthusiasm is contagious. Been listening to Torche for a long time, just wondering if they actually disbanded or not? Hopefully not.
They did
Thanks PG! Great job Cris!
Just started listening to this band recently. Impressive. 🎸
Damn you guys could be brothers.
Well, they both have shaved heads, so they're definitely related in some way, right?
@@Zavarzin Same barber but even the faces are very similar No? Maybe just me
Just got his Tetra fet drive pedal and it’s completed my bass tone

Such an underrated band
So much effort and the tones and textures are ...fine.
That's exactly what i was thinking
See them live and tell me their tone is just “fine”. Absolutely blew my dick off with their sound, Meshuggah and converge sounded weak af after torche played.
no bass :(
METZ ZTEM agree, I would have loved to heard from Eric, he’s an incredible musician! Check out his band WRONG!
Nunez talks about gear like he found religion. And he wants to bring you to Jesus, Chris. lol
Welcome to the Church of Torche
The Bass player doesn't get a Rig Rundown?
Iommi....8-38’s, La Bella strings.
He wasn't playing on a low a though
....what? What do La Bella 8-38 strings and Tony Iommi have to do with anything in this video at all???
Thank the gods that these good folks did a rig rundown 🙌🏾
AAA and Cavity! Florida LOCAL !
They look and sound identical hahaha
They called the neck on the mosrite style guitar an EGC neck but it's actually a Robot Graves neck
No, he said the other Florida company, meaning Pensacola....EGC. You heard him wrong.
I thought I was into gear.....
The Flying 'SteVe'
