- Rick and the team joining forces with LIV last week was pretty big news in golf, and while some people took it as an opportunity to be critical of Rick over his decision, we thought we'd share our experience of when we spotted him at the 2023 LIV event at Centurion Golf Club.

Thank you. Jamie did get to speak to him again last summer when Rick sponsored a local Junior Open - said he was the kid he'd spoke to on the telephone. He's a good guy.
Rick is a good lad! He still had his phone number on youtube up until the other year, he's one of us and how nice of him to reach out to you both! I bet he's had a look at your channel pal

I have to agree with you there Graham.
A lot of virtue signalling going on there about Rick being a LIV Ambassador. Unsubscribing because he is working for a rival Tour and all it's Sports Washing implications...who did they think backed Rick when he made his initial massive subscriber gains? 'PERFORMANCE 54' they were happy to buy in then but didn't know who or what P54 are. They perhaps also need to look into who is dumping money into the LPGA, LET and to the PGA Tour 😂😂😂

You're comments on TGL...I'm sorry but I cant agree with that, it's much, much, much worse. Using Tigers Full Swing as data capture and he over flies a green by twenty yards 😳 They need to dump that system and get Trackman or Quad in to make it anything like relevant.
And Phil...i'd still take a tenth of his skill and that would improve my handicap 👍
Exactly mate, and as I was editing the video last night I see the news that Jay Monahan has gone cap in hand to Trump to ask for help in resolving the split in mens golf. That means the same source of funding will go into the US based tour in return for allowing players to cross back over from LIV - I'm hoping Donald even manages to use it to pressurise the R&A to get Turnberry back on The Open schedule, as it should be. The people that run golf need to realise that the 'upholding values' posturing they do isn't always actually beneficial to the game.
@ladgolf Jay is making an arse out of himself...I hope The Don tells him to "go do one!" It wasn't just Turnberry either...remember what The PGA Tour did to Doral 🤔🤔🤔 I'm sure Donald hasn't forgotten 👊
Liv sucks and is a terrible product
@@sportsjunkie2900 It’s not for everyone buddy, but there are a LOT of people who rate it. I did The Open and LIV JCB last year with my 14 year old and we both enjoyed LIV more than the major.
Nobody watches it at all on tv or online and the numbers show that under 15,000 people watched the first event this weekend on tv that’s just sad.
