It really is cool to combine ice with super speed. It makes Frost a lightning/ice queen, especially the lightning-ice bolt she just threw at Barry. It's too bad the effect is temporary since Frost makes an excellent speedster, even better than Barry

If they don't end up going with it, they'll probably just say "Crisis changed it." I really hope they don't though, but they sadly do have a convenient (and lazy) excuse should they decide to not pursue that story arc.

She just ran and used her ice powers. Im pretty sure she didn't phase or anything like that. Edit: Unless you mean the lightning throwing which she didn't actually do. She just threw the ice and the light went with it.
The was the signature velocity serum. Used by zoom and trajectory too. But with frost's rapid healing, it would rarely leave any impact on her like it took toll on the other 2.
I really loved the animation but the only criticism that I have is that killer frost costume has full glove in her hands and in the animation they miss that detail by letting her hands out but just that and everything else was on point.
I know that the ASF gets destroyed after Barry brings Iris and only Iris back and goes through a range of emotions to cause him to willingly destroy the ASF.
I was rooting for Barry, and I have to say I’m satisfied. No “pep talks” or “bArRy YoU’rE sTrOnGeR tHaN tHaT”, just Barry beating the teams asses, probably because those morons locked him in a dampening cell twice.
Is it just me or is barry straight up just jogging in speedster's fight scenes tbh the others run head down with the right position and movement but barry is straight up jogging
Remember he had speed thinking at this time so he already saw how this was going to go he didn't see the need to waste much of his energy knowing they were going to bring him back to the speed lab. He saw the outcome to that fight so your knowing why would he need to try.
Barry Allen does have a point To get Iris West back She is the only key to stop Eva The Flash does make the mistake. Almost killed his team. He had no idea what he was doing. But instead he destroyed artificial speed force.
Barry predicting that the unpredictable ball was going to hit them after that long in those ways for such a huge period of time into the day is crazy bro legit saw the next 15 mins of life with super speed intellect
What's crazy is, if Barry was truly trying to kill them, even with Cisco having his powers it wouldn't mean s***. This show was damn good at showing what flash could do, but at the same time it sucked at showing what The Flash could actually do. Play Negative Speed force Barry, was quite literally the Flash's equivalent to Soulless Sam from supernatural, and I love it
Here my only thing I dont like so when barry gets his speed it takes him a long ass time to be able to master it but here some how when other get super speed they dont have a hard time controlling it.

So studying something and actually being something are 2 different things entirely. She literally was on par with him seconds after taking the drug I dont think it would work like that.

So when Barry got his speed it was after a dark matter explosion. Nobody at star labs knew about his or other meta capabilities. So he learned his abilities as new threats arose, because he was required to do different things to stop them. This also happened with Jay Garrick; the two og flashes. But, with new speedsters like Wally, Jessie, or even the temporary trajectory, they all mastered their speed quickly because it wasn’t a matter of “what am I capable of?” With them, it was more of a “how do I do this”. And obviously seeing Barry do these things gave them a pretty clear idea of how to replicate it. So yeah. Frost may have mastered speed faster than Barry, but that was because half the things Barry does now, he didn’t know he could do initially. He learned about them from other speedsters or from other scenarios, and caitlyn was there the whole time. Since these abilities have already been tested, and not to mention she’s commonly been the one to experiment with how Barry should execute them, it makes sense that frost would be able to adapt this quick. Also, just to mention, she also went into flash time with Barry against devoe, after training for ages, which gives some idea as to why her counterpart frost would be able to understand how to use Barry’s abilities.
And yet Iris performed greater feats on her first day. Not to mention the explanation for how Iris got powers makes more sense than how Frost did (an ice-wielder should be incapable of having speed based on the show’s own logic)
I love how all these comments talk about how great the scene was while my mind goes back to the season 2 plot point where they discover that lightning turning blue is a bad sign. Does anyone else remember that? Cause the writers certainly didn't.
No lightning turning blue happens when you go fast enough and that causes cellular degeneration. But that only happened with velocity 9. Caitlin is using velocity x which doesn’t have that side effect of cellular degeneration so she can go as fast as she want without dying.

I mean, they were trying to secure Flash in the room, Frost injected herself and instead of using her powers plus speed to secure him in the room, she choose to speed race with him through out the city? I dont get it :( Pd. I call bs on Frost falling from a building and not destroying the car on impact xD
Because Cisco wanted to get him in position to bring him back to himself, and to also distract him and waste his energy but I really think it was just plan fan service and it really wouldn't be a speedster battle if they don't run around the city ig. But it was also to show that you can bring in any person or as many people as you can to stop barry with his emotionless speed thinking but he will still out smart you.
