Each relationship has their own dynamic because each member knows how best to interact with the other. For RenHyuck (as well as other members with Renjun), Renjun seems to have lost his confidence along the way & have gained it back starting around Boom era. It's probably the reason why he deferred the captain position to Jeno despite being older & one of the more mature member. I think as a Chinese member, he might be worried about his position (look at past Chinese idols under SM). Haechan & the others show him immense love to help him combat his self doubts. This is also similar to 127 members with WinWin. I also think Haechan appreciate Renjun's friendship because he goes head to head with him and understands his sarcastic humor. Jeno & Mark tends to give into Haechan & his teasing. Jaemin is a major introvert & removes himself from the situation/Haechan understand when to stop pushing him. But with Renjun, he doesn't have to hold back in both his teasing and loving.
Agree! I doubted Haechan at first, but after Mental Camp started to think that his reactions are very much appreciated (e.g. that elbow kiss?). And it's not only because of RJ's unsure personality, but also because before Hello Future Renjun seeked for his attention soooo much. Not only during Ridin' or Boom eras which are often mentioned, earlier too. Haechan willingly gave it (well, maybe more often in a teasing form), but only to receive "Please, love me more" tablet 🙈 The other thing I noticed is how Haechan can joke around anything except for the compliments and affection. Sometimes the members don't believe him so he has to reassure he is serious, but this boy is really a loving and attentive soul. He also hesitated a lot with Renjun. And cared in little things. Overplaying... Thank you so much for a heartwarming video! ❤️ Love them. P.S. If you compare them to some popular pairings from other groups, they are not loud :D
exactly !! haechan before 2020 kiss everyone except Renjun with him he always had more trouble he was a little shy in my opinion 🥰 but their relationship has evolved well and I agree if we compare them to the dotae they are not noisy for example 😤

Is it just me or I think this time (beatbox era) hc is more calm toward rejun than usual (maybe we haven't hv chance to see more yet since it still first week and they should stop the promotion for a moment cos of corona thing) but in my opinion it's not dry (renhyuck moments) they are just like doing it offcam maybe... e.g the mcount ending stage also on relay dance vid (i forgot which minute) but after the part of chorus (renhyuck and mark dance together and hc held rj arm) renhyuck back to the line at the back and i think rj asked him to stand in front of him but hc gently/softly saying no then touched rj arm asked him stood in front of him. HC is more gentle and soft toward renjun in this era... his gaze too it's more arrgghhh idk how tomsay but kyaaaaaa soo deeply romantic hahahahaha like omg i found it cute and romantic

This time even all the pictures they have from beatbox are of them standing towards the extreme corners .. usually they stand next to each other usually using some form of touch but this time idk they are a little distant. When they are next to each other, the focus of a content (or comments) is shifting towards them, and this is def not what you want when you have 7 people or the information-focused video in general.
