Das Sd.Kfz. 11 (leichter Zugkraftwagen 3t) von AFV-Club ist zwar schon ein älterer Bausatz, der mittlerweile sogar recht selten geworden ist, hat sich aber trotzdem gut gehalten. Selbst aus der Schachtel gebaut sollte das Fahrzeug eine gute Figur machen.
Der Verkaufspreis vor ca. 15 Jahren lag bei etwa 25-30€, was man heute dafür bezahlt weiß ich nicht genau.

The Sd.Kfz. 11 (light towing vehicle 3 tons) by AFV-Club is a fairly old kit, which actually became rare these days, but it aged pretty well. Even when built out of the box it should look good.
The retail price for the kit was about 25-30€ 15 years ago, i don´t know what you pay for the kit nowadays.

Excellent kit, still has some of the nicest running gear out there. Also, if more companies could make well detailed 'rubber' tracks like AFV that would save a lot of us time and money! Nice seeing this, good review 👍

A high level of detail without going too crazy on the parts count. Looks like a nicely moulded kit for sure. I like the advice club kits I have built but I always (and it may be my fault) have issues with their decals . Hope the build goes well
I agree on the decals, theirs can be a bit wonky at times. I have the feeling that they don´t age well, as long as they are new its all good.

Yeah great kit. I bought it, and the 105cm, and ammo for the side ammo bins. Just never have the time anymore. Cool review my friend.
I think they actually offered the 11 and the 105 gun in a bundle once.

Not sure. I had to buy all of it separately. That would have been my luck if they'd sold it to gether. Separate was costly. ;-).

Great review Michael. Those weird pegs/pins you mention in the moulding are indeed strange. I never encountered those until I built the Takom M3 Lee Mid recently.
Ad for the AFV club single length tracks, I agree they are quite good. I used them on the 251/9 last year or the year before. They look good, and I was lucky in that where they were folded in the package, when I installed them on the vehicle they portrayed the appropriate sag.

I got the separate running gear set AFV-Club offers, which uses the same sprues and tracks from this kit, i might use it to improve the look of older kits. I am looking at the Tamiya 251 D in particular :)

Danke für das zeigen der "Exoten" Mir persönlich gefällt AFV Club auch sehr gut habe diverse Bausätze von denen und es eine solide Mischung aus Preis und Qualität. Wenn ich da an den späten Tiger 1 denke was da alles für unter 30 Euro in der Box ist, da können sich andere "Dragon" *hust* ne scheibe abschneiden.
Stimmt, da ist die Preispolitik etwas stimmiger im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellern.

Nice review sir. I'm really liking AFV Club kits these days. I'm building their WC63 and I have their WC52 on standby. All of the parts fit like a glove and the level of detail is outstanding. That should build into a nice looking vehicle.......not as nice as a Sherman though...haha
Thanks Danny :) I have to say that AFV Club has quite a cool variety of subjects to offer. i would love to build their norwegian nm116 at some point. That kit is kinda expensive, though.

AFV great brand
They make some neat stuff indeed.
Ich hatte bisher erst zwei AFV Club-Bausätze, darunter den M88 Bergepanzer, bei dem ich es auch zum ersten Mal mit PE zu tun hatte. Das war der Korb an der Spitze des Krans. Der PE-Rahmen war aus Stahl, ziemlich dick und extrem schwierig zu biegen, aber davon ist der Hersteller offenbar abgegangen. Zum Glück! Trotzdem gefielen mir beide Kits sehr gut. Das kann ich auch von diesem Bausatz sagen. Interessantes Fahrzeug! Mal sehen, ob ich den irgendwo für einen vernünftigen Preis finden kann. Ich war ein wenig überrascht, dass der Decal-Bogen komplett war! Wieder mal eine sehr gute Bausatzvorstellung! ;)
Hab ich ja auch in Frankreich gekauft, die sind da nicht pingelig bei den Decals :D
Ich mag von AFV-Club die Centurion Panzer sehr gerne, was für tolle Bausätze! Wahrscheinlich meine Lieblingsbausätze überhaupt.
Das klingt sehr gut! Ich habe ja bekanntermaßen eine große Schwäche für britische Fahrzeuge, fast noch mehr als für sowjetische. Da ich nun nicht allzu weit von Belgien und Holland entfernt wohne, fahre ich vielleicht mal hin und schaue, wie das bei denen mit den Decals ist. Oder ich bestelle wieder was aus Großbritannien. Ich habe einen Tamiya Schwimmwagen von dort und da sind auch alle Decals enthalten. :)

Schönes Modell, erinnert mich an den (ur)alten Matchbox- Bausatz, besonders mit der Pak40.
Der Motor vom 250/251 von Dragon müsste eigentlich der richtige sein, wenn man einen übrig hat.😉

Well now you know something about it :) To my own shame, i´ve been in model shops in almost all countries i have visited, but never in Italy! I don´t know what you guys usually have to offer, i bet much more Italeri kits compared to here.
@@HamilkarBarkasScaleModelling Well, it depends! As you know Italy is so long and different... When I lived in Imola (Bologna) there was a lot of Tamiya's kits, then I had 5 trips in Rome and I saw that there was a lot of Italeri's and Dragon's kits... in my city (South-East Italy) we have a lot of Italeri's.... I'm starting to see some Zvezda, HobbyBoss, ecc. only in the last year....

Danke dir :) Man hat ja immer eine tolle Auswahl an Geschützen, aber Zugfahrzeuge sind etwas rar manchmal. Drum kaufe ich sowas meistens, damit ich was dranhängen kann!

Да это нормально Комплект поставляется с Тайваня. Я купил комплект во Франции. Там это не беспокоит.
