- How I resolved "You need the Official WhatsApp to use this account"
WhatApp recently banned me and and after some hours, they unbanned me.
so I tried to login and activate the WhatsApp again only to see the error message of "You need the Official WhatsApp to use this account"
And I was using the official WhatsApp.
So this made me to watch several TH-cam videos to find solution but I was not successful with the steps I see. Before that, I had reached out to WhatsApp support and also the support email on the playstore.
So I later threw up a challenge of giving out 5,000naira to whoever will be able to get this issue resolved because I've generated leads for my business on this WhatsApp account.
One guy helped me with some stuffs which I highlighted on the video above and he was presented with the screen to put verification code.
The final step I also took, I stated it on the video and I got something positive.
so if you're having issues about WhatsApp ban due to unofficial WhatsApp usage, then try the steps I highlighted on the above video. And I hope it works for you too. - บันเทิง
Wow it truly worked. I did same thing and even though their response wasn't what i expected, I downloaded again and it worked this time

If you're not receiving your WhatsApp verification code, make sure the phone number is inside the phone.

I followed everything you said but there is a message popping up in that privacy policy saying PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING SECURITY CHECK. I don't know what they mean by security check.
@@stanimart I follow every details in your video but they replied my email saying that I should not email them using the Privacy Policy email, if it is not Privacy Policy related issues.
After writing my email and complain together and my phone number I press send and they me a place "SECURITY CHECK" that a security check is required to proceed please what should I do I try pressing send but it not going
Security check is a normal thing while accessing most websites. So you should proceed.
