Garfield (voiced by Chris Pratt), the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! Holy lasagna! He would be a great Garfield! Its like them casting Bill Murray instead of Jeff Bridges for the 2000s movies, which is really messed up considering the former had Lorenzo Music(Garfield's original voice actor) fired from the Real Ghostbuster's cartoon because he thought he didn't sound like him playing Peter Venkman.

@@Reborn_venom217it could add more about his character, rather than being just a lazy cat that loves food, he is a hurt soul with a father who abandond him as a kitten, got most of his negative traits from him and all the food he eats is a form of dealing with stress.

@@robertofabrizioiparraguirr6038i have a dog that used to be abandoned much like garfield in this movie, and i've found its not really stress eating but instincts. when they're on their own they ate to take every little thing they got, including food. most animals stay with that where they'll eat everything they're given, which is why as an owner you have to really monitor what you're giving them (and what you leave on the counter when you're gone 😅)
You know what I didn't realize until now? That we've met Garfield's mother, brother, grandfather, and cousins, but we have never met his father until now

As a person who has a degree in Garfield lore, this movie looks good and honestly Garfield does not sound lazy enough and his stripes do not look very accurate to his comic form, that of which as vertical stripes that go from small to big horizontally and looks more like normal lines. But other than that, I think the movie looks good and much better than all the other 3d Garfield movies. I am very excited.
