I think the interesting thing using the stacking bite quest with a Q build is the significantly better mobility.
You can Shadow Waltz someone, slip in, Chomp, and then Shadow Waltz them again to slip back out. With all the talents you normally take, you're missing out on that enhanced mobility and relatively safe poke damage. The spell armour talent also has no duration, and you can refresh it so often that it lets you survive being close enough to Chomp a lot easier.
For her ults, they're only a 50s cooldown. I think you have a tendency to hold onto them for the perfect moment, but realistically you can have them up virtually every fight so being a bit more liberal in their use might make them feel better.
A lot do that with their ults.
Each build has its place on Orphea and that is what makes me think she has one of the best designed kits. It didn’t really need any patches, and there is a lot of room for skill expression.
Overall this was definitely the right game to pick Q build. For orphea it is hard for me to say when to pick what because I usually do it based on feeling and it gets me where I need to go.
Small tip just throw out your ults like an extra ability. 50 seconds for their relatively low impact compared to something like planet cracker means they are best used frequently as just another tool in the kit.
Yessss! Now you know the joys of Q Orphea! You can deal such brutal damage when you're on a roll, but as you noticed, it feels real extra bad when you miss. Small tip: The bite's hitbox starts directly under you, so it's a little larger than you may think- it's pretty easy to chomp a whole minion wave in one go, if you soften it up right.
I have a friend who used to climb to masters back when the game received updates. Q build with feast and crushing jaws was his nuclear weapon when Orphea launched.
W quest goes well with the Lurking Terror on 16. Allows you to cast (talented) W from the spot where E exploded with added slow. Might as well be called 'Spanish Inquisition', because nobody expects that. Needs a bit of practice but after you manage to get your first kill with it, you'll get hooked.

And survive the return hits. 0.75s cooldown on chained Qs, every dodge generates a 50% damage reduction charge. The dodge is erratic and hard to predict, and even if they land a hit you can get charges faster than they get spells back, and you've got strong self healing.
She seems like a nightmare for other casters if you lean into the Q build.

Love this game, I remember trying Q build and I was immediately flamed for picking the wrong talent. Personally I think "meta" is just another way of saying "lack of imagination".
But talking about revisiting biases I found my best roll on Orphea when using the Insatiable talent instead of the stacking. You can pretty much use it all the time and 2 chomps are more damage than you can stack + you get more self sustain with 2 chomps when weaving auto attacks in between. Pick the level 4 Chaotic assault (3 chaos increase damage) and level 13 Abyssal Symbiosis (chomp hit gives 3 chaos + shields) along with it and you are pretty much immortal unless you get too badly stunned or kited. The stacking is only good for instant burst damage but after 2+ seconds of battle its pretty much worse no matter how much you stack it. Its the instant kill build, I think it needs team stun blow up coordination to be useful. But that just might be my lack of imagination.
I almost only play Q because somehow i can hit the tip very consistently. I really like the self heal and the Illidan like abillity to chase and heal back up

Try Orphea with Insatiable and cooldowns on the Q sometime, I nicknamed is the Miss Pacman build. Just omnomnom everyone in your path.
Q build is strong but let’s be honest those opponents were basically feeding all game. Yeah Kael’thas would have had a field day.

I think you can forgive yourself for "don't use it the entire game" when "the entire game" is like 10 minutes because you're wrecking face.
That orphea skin i want it but i dont think is worth 1200 bc i dosent change the vfx only a hat, why? 1200 and dont have any new animations or anything else
Q build is super op against everything except multiple stuns.
