4955 without adoubt, drove both 47 and 49's when I worked for a JD dealer, the best I drove was one of the last 4955's with the moved exhaust, great tractors
The rhubarb derived (by boiling up rhubarb leaves) chemical is oxalic acid. It will dissolve iron oxide (rust). Once cleaned out you'll need some form of waterproof coating to stop further corrosion. Cheers, Gavin
The sillhouett is a potato harvester. I recon Andrew bought the 4955, The best way to clean a stained saucepan is to cook rhubarb in it, probably acid so will clean ur bowser. The JCB with marker boards is on its way to the docks and going for export. Marker boards are manditory in some European countries on agricultural vehicles.
I would have to say the 4955 very clean and sound brilliant but two lovely tractors you should have bought the other one OLLY them two tractors would look class out in the field together
For the fuel bowser you can use exhaust gas to purge it and clean it, doing a purge will remove fuel stuck to the sides if you get it empty, then if you fill it up with something to wash the inside you’ll get a really nice clean job.
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer you put some pipe on a vehicles exhaust pipe and run it into the bowser, then turn vehicle on and give her some revs for a bit, for say half an hour, and it will essentially dry the inside of the tank and will remove any fuel vapour left inside, then you can give it a really good clean without having any fuel contamination with what your trying to wash it wish, which makes it harder to clean. What would be best to clean it with I’m not sure tbh. It’s a common method used for cleaning and welding fuel tanks so it doesn’t catch fire while doing so
The solenoid problem sounds like what its driving is under alot of strain, could be a bearing gone on the conveyor or something binding up, only way to check is to take off the belt and try turning the rollers by hand to see if you can find whats binding
Great video and I wish I had known you were both in the area I live down the road from the Christmas trees you could have popped in for a brew and biscuits 🍪
Great video olly, have you ever thought of making compost as you have the shredder? Tin of bill cosby party spray in the Ford lol before you pushed it, I reckon 4955, bigger solenoid maybe? Potato harvester.
The outro is a potato harvester? Hi Olly, what a busy day for you. I reckon the K reg JD one will be in the yard next. Took cull sows to market, stores lambs to over winter bought. Thanks Olly, take care.
I sometimes drove a 4955 on farm I worked on as a student. Remember carting rape with it and never used to drop rpm at all when going uphill fully loaded. Think it was only 30k though! Wouldn't want to be going from forward to reverse too often. A bit annoying coming all the way back down through gears to get reverse.
Hopefully Adam bought the 4955, looked in better condition, at least the stacks are on the bonnets, I don’t think they look right off the side of the cab 👍
I really hope he has bought that 4955 what a tractor. When John deere made proper tractors. Good luck Sam
Definitely the 4955 sounds a beast bigger tyres less ground pressure too
4955 looks the beast with front linkage and floatation tyres
4955 no doubt :-) looked awesome with the big wheels.
Hope its the 4955 looks like the dogs, I think you'll be surprised how good them old Deers are, and the power shifts are superb
Definitely the 4955, those big tires make it look like the green beast!!
I certainly hope that Sam bought the 4955, what a tractor good tyres and a proper beast. Keep up the great videos. Allan in Exeter.
Another good video. Got to be the 4955. Made me smile l work at JCB heavy products

We have a neighbouring christmas tree farm down here and the old John Deere's really are beasts

4955 on your set of rollers would be a lovely combo 👍🏼
I would have to say the 4955 very clean and sound brilliant but two lovely tractors you should have bought the other one OLLY them two tractors would look class out in the field together
Hi Olly Potato harvester or some thing similar the 4955 with front links look a beast Have a good weekend Thanks
That duffel bag in the boot at the beginning is defo a bag of cash fore the John Deere 😏
Them cases are really nice tractors 👍

What you mean exhaust gas purge

Another great blog olly love watching them
Guessing the 4955, bigger tyres, front linkage, less rust, better paint work as well and the engine did sound pretty good
Hopefully the 4955 what a classic 👍
Hi olly
4955 looks a Beast and a Beauty

Carrot harvester maybe and my 3 year old mason loves your green Merlows he always gives the videos a 👍
Hi pal great video yet again like always love watching them
I bet he buy 4955 that's the one I would buy
Potato harvester with the elevator folded up probably Grimme or Standen is the silhouette
The 4955 used to be down in Suffolk near me. There’s a video of it ploughing in my videos.
Definitely done the deal on the 4955😍 she mint on them big tyres
Check the voltage on the coil on the solenoid. Some big machines run on 24 volt.
Archimedes.
Great video and I wish I had known you were both in the area I live down the road from the Christmas trees you could have popped in for a brew and biscuits 🍪
👍🏻
Great video, 4955
4955 looks awesome! The business.. but not my call.. BC Canada 🇨🇦
Great video olly, have you ever thought of making compost as you have the shredder? Tin of bill cosby party spray in the Ford lol before you pushed it, I reckon 4955, bigger solenoid maybe? Potato harvester.
Great video olly a 4955
That 4955 is a beast, I hope it’s that one.
4955 is the one i think he got , 95% great video as ever thanks
What a beauty 🤠👍
It's got to be the 4955 hasn't it 😁 a Grimme potato harvester Olly 👍
Reckon Andrew def went for the JD with the wide tyres on.
Got to be the 49. Beast on the shoes
4955 looks 👌
I prefer the 4955 because the front linkage it’s looks tidy and have more panels to make it tidy
👍🏻
49 I have a feeling I've seen it for sale on tff. The little JCB seamed a handy tool. Hope wasn't to big a hit for him
Our part of the country 👍
The outro is a potato harvester? Hi Olly, what a busy day for you. I reckon the K reg JD one will be in the yard next. Took cull sows to market, stores lambs to over winter bought. Thanks Olly, take care.
I think that the silhouette is of a trailed potato harvester (standen? , Grimme?)🚜
Got to be 4955 sounds awesome
4955 , my guess would be an old class combine for thatching straw .
Gotta be the 4955 for sure!👏🤞👍
I sometimes drove a 4955 on farm I worked on as a student. Remember carting rape with it and never used to drop rpm at all when going uphill fully loaded. Think it was only 30k though!
Wouldn't want to be going from forward to reverse too often. A bit annoying coming all the way back down through gears to get reverse.
Could you clean the inside of the diesel and then put like a paint or coating in and turn the bowser over and around to coat the inside.
If memory is correct, Archimedes said…”give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.”
The last tractor Andrew saw was the best by far .
👍🏻
Proper boots on the 49
is the solenoid plumbed up differently internally
I recon he’s got to have gone for the 4955, both cracking tractors though! Is the picture a grimme spuds lifter?
Proper Tractors will still doo a days work when the electronic gizmo ridden tractors of today have all gone to that great short circuit in the sky
I did a YTS on a farm that had 4755 and 4450 didn’t get drive them but I did drive his 3130 2wd.
🤣🤣🤣
I think he may have gone for the 4955 it looks like it could cope with harder work but I’m not sure haw he’s going to use it!
4755 or 4955 both big tractors and a nice tone
4955 had front three point hitch. That's the one I would have bought.
4955 looked the better option 👍👍
There was only one 4955 get her bought Sam 🙏👌💪💪👍
Gday.the out pic is a grimmie gz potato harvester.iam from herefordshire.loads of them digging around here
I always thought the 4955 had an exhaust up the side of the cab or was that the last of the 4955
After 1993 I believe
I have seen it Advertised not far from where I live .4955. £28.500.
Hi Olly hope all is well you could check a volt meter on the input current to see if it is generating excess current
The 4955 is the best looking
I think he’s getting the 4955 it looked a beast with them tyres on
I hope he bought the 4955. Looked tidier and why not go for top of the range! Looks like a Grimme GT170
I think it’s the 4755 That he is going to buy but I could be wrong it could be the 4955 and a good video today and I’m A 100%
Subzero that 4955 Olly 👍👍 95% today
4955 has to be the one 🚜🇮🇪🌻
Great video again
Thanks
Hopefully Adam bought the 4955, looked in better condition, at least the stacks are on the bonnets, I don’t think they look right off the side of the cab 👍
4955 funnily enough i’ve noticed it on facebook as i’m local. I’d buy it if I had the money.
PROPPER TRACTOR 💪
Got to be the 4955 all day
4955 what a beast
I think the 4955 , there’s lots of fields with Christmas trees in Leicestershire.
Really
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer yes the local Wood yard grow them
I hope Sam has gone for the 4955, it's a beast. That has to go on the sub zero section of the wall !!!
On widescreen in the sitting room tonight!! Lol🤣🥳🍻
👍🏻
Is the solenoid AC or DC? AC coils get hot / burn out if the slug doesn't pull right in properly because of mechanical problems in the valve.
Hope it was the 4955 👌🏻👍🏻
Definitely the 4955
I would say the 4955 is the better choice front links and better tyre's
👍🏻
Did he get the 49? Put it on the cool wall, the sg2 cab was revolutionary!
4955 please, thank you 😁
Those 55’s used to have a jump when coming down the gear box, think was about 12th. Could leave skid marks if shifting down too soon.
Nearly put myself through the windscreen of one of these when shifting down to fast one day, lesson learned.
Looks like a DL1700 with no picking table?
4955 definitely,
its the 4955 is the best one and keep the good work
The biomass boiler seems to take a lot of maintenance to keep it running Olly. Is that normal?
It does
