Arriving this Fall, based on a legendary guitar, the first guitar designed and built by John Suhr for himself in 1984. The Suhr Standard Legacy 2021/2022 starts with our Standard body shape with an African Okoume body, figured Maple Top with scraped binding, a Maple neck, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, with a gloss-black headstock, EMG SA’s in the neck and middle positions, an EMG 85 in the bridge and gold hardware. Introducing the Standard Legacy 2021/2022 Limited Edition featuring five beautiful finishes: Trans Carmel, Aged Cherry Burst, Black, and new Pelham Blue and Suhr Burst.

Reminds me of the Mark Knopfler model in the late 80's when It was Pensa- Suhr. My favorite pickups..... I've always loved the SA and the 85 in the bridge.

I got this one aged cherry for my newborn son for him to own as a very special limited edition guitar marking the year of his birth. One problem with it is I feel the lower horn can be a bit uncomfortable for people with larger hands.

I would love to own a Suhr, but looking at the prices, I know I could never afford one. Doctors and lawyers can buy Suhr, but not an average working class musician.
