Organizers Of Anti-Crime Walk Deny Political Motivations

Organizers of the “Stop the Violence Walk” are saddened that thirty-one-year-old Kevin Dupre’s life was taken on the day that the walk was to be held. According to the organizers, Dupre was to be a part of the walk, which was postponed due to the passage of Hurricane Beryl. This, they say, is all the more reason the walk should take place.
