That miniture wooden chest of drawers could be a sample from a furniture manufacturer, it could also be an apprentice piece, trainee joiners would make them back in the day as evidence of their skills learnt.
That bottle is 4711, so the way we referred to it was four-seven-eleven, my nana use to use it in Australia and the bottles were exactly the same. It is really refreshing.

Real quality explore. 25:17 old acetylene lamp as used on motorbikes. water in one little tank, calcium carbide in the other, reacts to make acetylene, burns with very bright flame. Defo a tool-hoarder, had 5 of everything & probably lost track of what he had. Not much "sentimental" stuff around, unusually. Sad

The bungalow needs to be cleared and all things to be put in the garden for now and cleaned and painted so there are all empty rooms all over the world and sold or rent at a low price

A really nice old cottage, and there is enough bones to definitely salvage it, and has a nice bit of land to go with it, it’s a shame it’s so close to the main road, that would be offputting for many.

I can’t help but comment on some of the viewers observations, I’m sure that your friend is just very curious and likes vintage and antique items - but it is a bit off putting the way he rushes ahead and rifles through drawers and boxes. There is nothing wrong with showing the viewers interesting items, but he should replace the lids on top of boxes out of respect for the deceased householder. At the same time, I do appreciate you both showing us all of the interesting items, it is much better than just some URBEXers giving a quick scan of a room.
The perfume bottle is not from 1875 but the perfume brand is. If it were from 1875, it would have been dried up. 4711 is a very well known, very old perfume. Not my taste but definitely a classic!

The ladies bike would have been from the 70s I think as I can remember my cousin having one and they were very popular at the time.The kitchen cupboards look the same design as what my mum had in the 70s.x

But then her neighbour accused me of stealing money which I did not and now she doesn't want me to clean anymore. I give up on people. She can live in her disgusting mess. Her poor disabled daughter lives with her too which is partly why I volunteered. People are such shits. I give up on people. 😢😢😢
Sad to see a property in this state, it could make a beautiful home once refurbished. If the owner has passed away, then it is likely probate issues have led to the dereliction of the place. Having dealt with the overly complex and obstructive probate system, I can well understand why the bungalow is in the mess it is.
I love looking at abandon houses and places. I don't like it when I see people digging through stuff and not putting it back so everybody that goes there makes a bigger mess a bigger mess. And has no respect for whoever property that is. If you open something put it back. Respect the property like it's a close family member of yours, so others can enjoy it too.

This falls under trespassing, not break and enter as they didn't break anything and the place is not secured. Law enforcement rarely charge if a premises isn't secured to prevent entry, so even if police are shown this, as long as they didn't take anything, nothing would be done about it.
Hello Alex and Pompeye. That Rayburn is lovely, far more efficient than any Aga. Cooked on one for years daily. Made bread in it every day. Remarkable little place. 4711 cologne was what all women with kids wore. We would save all our 3d bits for a couple of weeks to buy it for mother on Mothers Day! Every Year. Honestly!! Fortisip doesn't mean he had bowel cancer or any cancer. It's given for numerous health conditions and many many elderly people need to wear pads too.

I use 4711 cologne to this day. Bottle is classic, allegedly one of the oldest established ones. Still sold today, and looks the same.

I have a police wizzle like that, my dad was a policeman in South Africa storting when we were still Union and part of the UK.

This falls under trespassing, not break and enter as they didn't break anything and the place is not secured. Law enforcement rarely charge if a premises isn't secured to prevent entry, so even if police are shown this, as long as they didn't take anything, nothing would be done about it.

Hello Alex and Pompeye. That Rayburn is lovely, far more efficient than any Aga. Cooked on one for years daily. Made bread in it every day. Remarkable little place. 4711 cologne was what all women with kids wore. We would save all our 3d bits for a couple of weeks to buy it for mother on Mothers Day! Every Year. Honestly!! That and Lincoln Beer Egg shampoo! Memories! Lol
