I previously mentioned a few videos back that we all just need to release our music, but looking back I now realize that I didn’t really provide a solution. So here it is. Heres 3 things you can keep in mind to help yourself push passed your barrier and get your music into the hands of other people. Don’t let your music sit around. Sieze your oppotunity!

I've been working on my current project for the last 4 years or so. My philosophy has been to always try to make every new mix better than the last, but not let shit die in my head anymore. I think it's better to release an imperfect mix than never release anything. I've never been 100% satisfied with any mix I've done, but if I let that get in the way, that's like 30 tracks that never would've seen the light of day.
started on my journy to make rap music 4 years ago. learned to mix properly went from fl to ableton, learned keyboard and Drums, and spent the last year developing my voice and look. this shit is my entire life and..... i never even posted one single yet LOLOLOLOL

I TOTALLY get where you're coming from. There is no perfect. What I've learned to do is learn myself when it comes to being creative or mixing. With the right perspective and inspiration, you'll eventually improve in the direction that'll satisfy you. That's basically what works for me.

Look at it this way.
There will always be that jerk that says the mix is off and he listens to it on laptop speakers or he just have another opinion, which is fine.
If you're happy about it, be happy about it and move on. There is no mix that is perfect because people pref different things.
For sure it can be overthought and yes there are plenty more people being judgemental about music production now then just 10 years ago, but it's really still a minimum compared to how many actually listens to music, its the song not the production.
I know people who like metal and says Busters mixes suck and with that said, that's how opinionated this industry is and why it really can't be analyzed more then your capable off.
I took the time to listen to your older songs vs your most recent song, and you've definitely improved. The mix on Blacksheep is pretty scooped, but the one on Heavensgate is more present, and is overall more pleasing in my opinion. They're far from bad though. I've been recording and mixing for like 16 years and I still have so many problems. It's either that or imposter syndrome.
I can't give much advice as I don't think I'm that great, and I also don't want to be a hypocrite. I spent 4 and a half years re-recording and remixing my last album and it did turn out much better in 2023 than it would have initially in 2019. It was an awful experience though. By the end, I just wanted to get it over with and move on. Where's the fun in that? In the early years, you're gonna be terrible, you just have to deal with it. But being terrible shouldn't discourage you from making music. You'll get good eventually, so just have fun. If you write a good song with a bad arrangement and/or mix, then just redo it later when you get better.
This is what I will do. When your happy with it, just mix it down and leave it in a folder. Don't think about it or listen to it for like a week or two. Then re listen casually through your car or earbuds and if you like it, release it

Just release the song. Good songs are good regardless of how the mix is. Time is finite, and you can either spend that time obsessing over an eq move that nobody will even notice, or you can spend that time writing.
I swear sometimes bands I really look up to, from mixers I greatly admire have issues if I go in and look. It’s about the overall sound. Not the individual points we force our focus on 🔥
