I have bought lottery tickets, but I haven't won anything unfortunately. The money for the travel has come from my savings and TH-cam ad revenue. I'm going to have to cut back as its getting too expensive. Since my mother died in 2015, I get very depressed and the travelling helps alleviate that. Thanks for watching.
@@voxley19 Sorry to hear that. I find that getting into the nature and walking (rambling) helps in my case, I used to walk the north downs and westerham area a lot and now being based in the north east it has been difficult to start walking again- I guess it's too vast.
If you're anywhere new Newcastle in the North-East you have one of the greatest walks of them all nearby- the Pennine Way across the Cheviots between Byrness and Kirk Yetholm. Even an out and back day walk from Byrness along this route would be immensely rewarding. I actually have videos of this walk from 2008 on my channel plus lots of other walks- including bits of the North Downs Way- if you're interested.
@@voxley19 Thanks for the idea, I am off to Wigtown next month for some walking, but will do the Byrness walk for sure - perhaps around Christmas time - I am south of Newcastle in Durham so quite doable. Your North Downs videos drew my attention to your channel in the first place. A small gem of a walk south of that area, near East Horsley is the Lovelace bridge walk, part of Queens Jubilee walk or something like that I believe.
I can't get "dørene lukkes" out of my head 😆

So busy this this year, so much travelling - did you buy the lottery?

I would not advise the Cheviots in winter- save it for late spring, summer or autumn.
