- England vs Australia world cup darts, just look at Paul Nicholson what a bad sports person to act like that, this was so unprofessional the way he acted after the game, Well done Phil & Adrian, Phil & Adrian were disgusted by his behaviour.

Simple Student Living yeah I don’t get why people have this agenda against him. I mean he’s a character and what’s needed in the modern game to make it interesting. A rivalry between price and van Gerwyn could be what attracts new viewers to the sport. Darts at the moment lacks characters, we need a bit of controversy to make it watchable. Sure price can take it too far but so can everyone, I mean bobby George even said that behind closed doors price was a humble guy. Price puts it all on for the camera, whereas Paul is more of a general twat.

I get why good sportsman and gentleman in sports are respected and praised, but you’ve got to have a bit of personality to stand out and grow your own brand. Some people have to be villains. In boxing the build ups for fights where both fighters are polite are very boring

People need to calm down. I've met Nicholson on numerous occasions and all the guy has been is nice, friendly and respectful. He let me and my mates have a picture with him, and even took a picture of us himself! He wears his heart on his sleeve and just wants to introduce a character, which I think is fair enough. How about when big Lloyd punched the board! Let the players show emotion.

Honestly folks, let's be fair: Paul is not a bad loser! Admittedly, he was really very disappointed here, angry and sad that Australia didn't win the title. But why should he be a bad loser?
I actually really like Adrian Lewis, but we all know that he often has conflicts with other players (it all looked good between Adrian and him again in 2018). Who else did Paul have conflicts with in his career? With Kim Huybrechts at the "World Cup" 2015? Also, Kim is known for often having conflicts with players and often not being innocent about it. And Phil Taylor? Honest? He doesn't like a lot of players anyway, especially the ones who beat him (remember that great game against Nicholson at the UK Open in 2011. That's why he never liked him anyway). I remember, how Paul was/is always fair with the other players, for example losing to Thornton, Newton, Chisnall and so on. There was always a handshake, very often hugs and kind words.

@clairefraser63 first time i watched a dart game yesterday. i absolutely loved it, what a thrilling match. Nicholson's behaviour was strange indeed, but I agree with clairefraser63, the Australians seemed to play like a real team, frequently exchanging high-fives while England didn't show any kind of team spirit to me..
Now, why is it that in every competition Phil Taylor always goes on to play first and if there's another match involving him in that game he will play last in that one so he gets the longest rest.
He wasn't a sore loser, he never reached his peak in darts. And when you have 2 darts on the wire on doubles to win the match, and are were that close to winning a big major representing your country, AND a member of the other team shows no sympathy after they win, they have a right to be disappointed

I disliked this video. I'm english, but I have sense in knowing, everyone is attacking Paul Nicholson Wrongly. I mean you wanna talk about normal handshakes, put your mind too the match previous too the double with lewis and Nicholson, lewis was very despondent too shake Nicholson's hand after, not too say I think he's being 'unsporting' but if were gonna talk about the handshake, both are similar and your attacking one man who's just passionate about the sport.
