I started playing piano about 10 months back now. I haven't had lessons, nor am I reading from books. I've just painstakingly sat behind the piano and put my fingers in different places and made my own stuff up. some of it quite good, but often find myself hitting a brick wall for a week or two! Thought it was about time to learn some known music and came across this guy. Learnt how to play this in pretty much one day and I have taken some of these chords and come up with something pretty good of my own. @@sujanvincent2075just keep practicing. The more you keep pressing the keys the more it becomes muscle memory. It’s not hard just takes time, i learned it as a child.
I did this in quarantine, and it took me about a week to learn (spending an hour a day to learn bits of it and perfect it, then putting them all together.) It's beautiful, definitely worth the time.

I literally just got my piano today and I'm completely new at this instrument. Thanks for the video! I know it's going to be very difficult, since I know nothing about piano's 😂😂😂. You made it a lot easier than going along with those piano video's where they highlight the key's, lol.
Do yourself a favor and learn the Circle of 5ths and how chords fit together. That will give you a good foundation for understanding how most songs are constructed. After that, learn primary chord inversions...practice a little daily reading of sheet music and a 4 minute song will only take you about...well 4 minutes to play...good luck

When I learned completely how to do this song, I was so happy, but took it a step futher and made my own version of it through GarageBand. Trust me- I have practiced a lot of piano tutorials. This one is definitely a beginner one. This took me two days to memorize and play. Dedication and hard work helps everything 👍🏻

Advice to learn this, DONT do both hands first, do one by one, I start with the right since it’s basically the one that will give you future arthritis, then once you are crying of the arthritis in your right hand, do the left since that one is usually 1 or two notes , I did this process and in a solid month I learned this whole song, thanks to @pianokeyz ofcourse. I hope this advice helps everyone.😄 🎵🎶
This was SO easy to learn honestly!! To those who whine about how it takes much more than 45 minutes to learn this, you probably haven’t played or don’t have experience in piano that much. It takes time and effort and if you put in hard work and constantly practice along with this video, you will be able to learn it in 45 minutes. Sure it won’t be perfect at first but if you play the song atleast a two times each day, it will improve your playing.

ivan agung You tube is the worst place you could learn piano trust me. They just show you the keys to play so if a beginner learns this, they won't be able to read music and being able to read music is a vital part of being a pianist. Take lessons if you are interested, because that will be so much better. 😊

I remember look at this a couple years ago with my small cheap keyboard wishing to learn it. Today, I’ve officially fully learned and engraved it. Decided to try learn this song again and after a few years of on and off piano playing for fun I got it down so really easy.
Before more people comment "too fast!" "slow down" I think this is meant for piano players that have been playing for at least a year or so. Who know their notes well enough so all you have to do is learn the melody and rythem instead of learning all the notes, your hand placements, and moving your hand

any tips to learn to play n sing? I'm a fairly new piano player, but i play guitar n flute classicaly very well, i find it so difficult to try to play anything n sing on both guitar n piano
i found it hard too at first. If you memorize the majority of the song you can learn to just play without thinking about it. Also you should have the lyrics in front of you and try it out. I recommend you learn the intro and verses first and memorize that (lyrics included) then memorize the other parts but little at a time. hope that helps you!
This song is tricky. I'm a new piano player as well. The melody of the song is on beat, but the piano part plays on the off beat as well. To help I have an ear phone in one ear, then I have my piano plugged into an over the ear phone. Play the beat while trying to sing to the melody. I don't know about you, but the first line gives me a lot of trouble. I basically play it over and over until I get everything on beat.
the easiest way to sing and play piano, although i dont sing that wall, is just too play the chords but in easy pattern. so your brain doesnt need extra focus for playing, and that makes you able to sing. if you are about to play the chords in more fancy way as this guy shows us, you just need to practice more and more until your hand can move by itself and requires less focus, then go with the singing.
jj Fergie I agree, and its not so much a sense of taking your time, he did run through it all pretty fast. He basically played the song with breaks between verses/chorus etc
I'm a begginer at playing the piano. This is the third song I learned. It took me about 2 hours to learn this and another 2 hours to play it perfectly. It's actually pretty easy if you put your mind to it.
This video really helped me with the keys and the flats / sharps. This is also the first song I'm going to learn and you made it so simple. Only thing I gotta start working on is my hands because I always place them awkwardly.

Where's a good place to learn all there is to learn for beginners? Something like Justin Guitar Lessons... I want to learn to play the piano properly and not just learn to play songs.
Just keep doing it and doing it and doing it... Your hands will learn to find what position is best for playing the keys, and before long you'll be able to play it fine :D That's what happened to me for the intro to this and Let It Go.

+diamond hunter sorry if this is a little late, but I'll tell you when you start. You know when he said you're meant to do the intro 4 times? Well, after you do it 2 times, you sap tart the singing at the 3rd time and keep on going till the end of the song. Hope this helped. (:

Advice to learn this, DONT do both hands first, do one by one, I start with the right since it’s basically the one that will give you future arthritis, then once you are crying of the arthritis in your right hand, do the left since that one is usually 1 or two notes , I did this process and in a solid month I learned this whole song, thanks to @pianokeyz ofcourse. I hope this advice helps everyone.😄 🎵🎶

This was SO easy to learn honestly!! To those who whine about how it takes much more than 45 minutes to learn this, you probably haven’t played or don’t have experience in piano that much. It takes time and effort and if you put in hard work and constantly practice along with this video, you will be able to learn it in 45 minutes. Sure it won’t be perfect at first but if you play the song atleast a two times each day, it will improve your playing.

Kikilishes the pre chorus is actually very easy! its the mindset :) try going one key at a time and one hand at a time i got it easily that way :)
Thanks! I kinda got through it, it's just the part where the left hand plays what the right hand was playing. My fingers get all mixed up with which finger is playing which note at what time.

ivan agung You tube is the worst place you could learn piano trust me. They just show you the keys to play so if a beginner learns this, they won't be able to read music and being able to read music is a vital part of being a pianist. Take lessons if you are interested, because that will be so much better. 😊

I remember look at this a couple years ago with my small cheap keyboard wishing to learn it. Today, I’ve officially fully learned and engraved it. Decided to try learn this song again and after a few years of on and off piano playing for fun I got it down so really easy.

Before more people comment "too fast!" "slow down" I think this is meant for piano players that have been playing for at least a year or so. Who know their notes well enough so all you have to do is learn the melody and rythem instead of learning all the notes, your hand placements, and moving your hand

any tips to learn to play n sing? I'm a fairly new piano player, but i play guitar n flute classicaly very well, i find it so difficult to try to play anything n sing on both guitar n piano
i found it hard too at first. If you memorize the majority of the song you can learn to just play without thinking about it.
Also you should have the lyrics in front of you and try it out.
I recommend you learn the intro and verses first and memorize that (lyrics included) then memorize the other parts but little at a time. hope that helps you!

This song is tricky. I'm a new piano player as well. The melody of the song is on beat, but the piano part plays on the off beat as well. To help I have an ear phone in one ear, then I have my piano plugged into an over the ear phone. Play the beat while trying to sing to the melody. I don't know about you, but the first line gives me a lot of trouble. I basically play it over and over until I get everything on beat.
the easiest way to sing and play piano, although i dont sing that wall, is just too play the chords but in easy pattern. so your brain doesnt need extra focus for playing, and that makes you able to sing.
if you are about to play the chords in more fancy way as this guy shows us, you just need to practice more and more until your hand can move by itself and requires less focus, then go with the singing.
this was a little stressful. You should have ran through it with more detail and told more about the notes.

Write it down! Just as it shows on the screen.. That's how I do it.. Has worked quite well. This way you don't have to keep coming back to the video
Just keep doing it and doing it and doing it... Your hands will learn to find what position is best for playing the keys, and before long you'll be able to play it fine :D That's what happened to me for the intro to this and Let It Go.
