Thanks this helped. The first reason why I started playing basketball was because it was fun and I loved the game but now it turned too me wanting to be the best and outwork everyone. Which I didn't like, I'll be honest I have a true passion for basketball I love the game and I want to get the best I can and I want to make the NBA. But before watching this video I would work not because I loved the game anymore I worked because I wanted to be the best on the team and make sure no one can stop me. This made me not enjoy the game but I still played because I wanted to be the best and be like Kobe. Several times I played in the rain and it was freezing not because I wanted to but because I would think to myself well Kobe would have gone out and played in the freezing weather. So I used Kobe as my motivation and not myself. I'm not saying Kobe isn't a good motivator he's and excellent motivator but it came to the point when I played just because I wanted to be like Kobe.
I play basketball really because I love the feeling of scoring. Everything feels effortless and smooth and I feel calm. And once I start scoring effortlessly creating for my teammates becomes more easy. Is this a good reason to love the game?
I fell in love with basketball when I was 5 years old . Whenever I watched kobe , Steph , James , Giannis or Anthony play , I always felt like why I can't be one like them but i can never be because my parents don't want me to play any sports as WNBA is not as famous as NBA and I am bound by studies as well but there is always a soft spot for basketball in my heart❤️
I started liking sports in general around 10 years old and I saw basketball simply as amazing. The way the players move, the competition, the energy from the fans the playoffs, the finals it was amazing. Kobe was a scoring gem among others rip 🙏
Ok so I love the game, but i also want to get professional in Germany to be able to live from my passion. And i worked too much and loved it too much so i overworked my knees. I literally have to be disciplined to NOT put work in. But i also really struggle with watching film. I know it is important but it's not playing basketball yk? I know it'll help me but i don't want to do it..
It won't damage your game necessarily, but progress is something that is not always in your direct control. So, it may not be consistent. Simon DeepGame

yea, I can understand that. Be you, and don't complete your game based on someone else. But do get advice and learn from them.
This is the best channel on TH-cam. Not because of how it applies to basketball, but how it applies to life.
True wisdom. (Go Duke)
