Great info - I had to tweak mine a bit - my system did not like the /opt/torbrowser location. So I had to improvise. But I got it running. I tried the regular installed and it would hang up at ( error # 40 ) That is on Windows 11 VMWare. On Windows 10 every thing went smooth. Thanks again. 👍👍👍👍
@@ThorstenFischer-d4v I believe I setup on the Download Folder. That was quite easy. I know its not the norm. Different linux systems - seem to have their own hickups.

This is a cool and helpful feature when using terminal (just throwing this out there) From the terminal, type the first letter or two of a file or directory then press the “tab” key. This will auto complete the file name. If there is more than one file then a list come up with matching files. This is one of the most useful features in terminal (or saves time by not having to type an entire file name)
there is an easy way to download and lauch tor with just 3 simple commands i) sudo apt update ii) sudo apt install -y tor torbrowser-launcher these two commands are for downloading for lauching use --> torbrowser-launcher

Thanks for the video. I hear that Whonix is more resistant to fingerprinting than the Tor Browser. That's what it claims on the Whonix website. What are your thoughts on that subject?
@@teema.everythingtech Another approach would be to put Whonix on top of Virtualbox, on top of Kali - all on a single USB drive. You coiuld then run a VPN with Kali, for extra privacy and anonymity.
Why do you have to move it to the /opt/torbrowserlocation. Why not just leave it in the default downloads location. Also why did you not choose to just apt-get install tor....
why does he move? to organize why use pat-get install when this method work just as efficiently lol also not every version of linux support smooth installation using apt-get install .. i've faced issues using different version of ubuntu while trying to install using the apt-get install command and I've never faced any issue when using direct install method such as -xvf

However, I have problems when I want to install Tor. Kaliye does not install the one for iOS, and Kali does not install the one for Linux. Do you have an idea ?

Thanks for the video. I hear that Whonix is more resistant to fingerprinting than the Tor Browser. That's what it claims on the Whonix website. What are your thoughts on that subject?
Whonix relies on the Tor network to protect a user's anonymity online; all connections are forced through Tor or otherwise blocked.
Technically Whonix should be better since it’s an os built on Tor network as it has all the features of Tor and even more

I only have an Intel based Mac
Should be same process though
You can either install Tor on your Mac or on Kali Linux in your VM.
Tor is available for Linux, Windows, Mac, iOS and Android
I was getting issue at moving tor browser to opt file what should i do
It was like mv: cannot stat 'tor-broswer' : no such file or dictionary
Check the name of the tor browser folder or just move it manually.
the terminal writes: zsh permission not granted
How come the TOR icon doesn't seem to work anymore?
Note: Every time we don't have to open like this 🙌🏻
You downloaded linux?

It says tor browser should not be run as root. Exiting
you dont need to run terminal as a root go run a normal terminal
How reopen it again?
Just clear everything and redo the steps again, if you’re unsure. Eventually, you’ll get in.
Man i dont like your video , I LOVE IT ❤❤❤❤❤
