Cast your shopping net far and wide. I got my 2023 Arteon SEL Premium for $10K off brand new off the showroom floor a few months ago. Sticker was $52K and paid $42K and change. Very happy with the car. There are deals to be had but you need to look deeper and be willing to fly/drive to an exceptional deal.
2019-2020 Arteons have the old interior and old powertrain (268HP with slow shifting Aisin 8-Speed torque converter automatic, same gearbox they use in the MK2 Tiguans). Anyone considering an Arteon should only be looking at models from 2022-2023 for the amazing MK8 Golf R powertrain (300HP/295 TQ), 7-Speed DSG and steering box from the MK8 GTI/Golf R plus improved interior materials and design). Is a vastly improved and superior car (Inside and out) to the 2019-2021s. Do note that while 2021s received the new revised interior, those Arteons are still stuck with the old mediocre powertrain as the car in the video. Only focus on Arteons from 2022 and 2023MY. You’ll thank me😂 later
