Forsaken Cave is the location of the White Phial as well as the Ring of Pure Mixtures so activate both quests and you can complete them both at the same time.

Also, if you do the "In my time of need" quest, it will take you to the dungeon that has the Night falls on sentinel book. Might wanna finish that first for an extra 500 gold + dungeon loot.
