I praise God for all those who struggle with this song because of the rather blasphemous line, 'the earth, it is Your throne'. Much as I love the song and the singing, I still struggle with the line. I wish the songwriters would correct it and redo the song. Surely, one would expect them to know the difference between 'the prince of this world' and the Sovereign Lord whose Most High Throne is the unreachable Heaven far beyond the heavenly realms, the earth merely His footstool!

Great song, and very happy my church is singing straight from Scripture. The only way this song could be better is correcting the slight theological guffaw in the first verse. The song states that earth is God's throne, while Scripture states earth is the footstool of God's throne in heaven. Although, I admit, footstool doesn't fit as nicely in the rhythm.
